the unofficial method is using an app to reset the counter to get around buying a new maintenance box. why? Because then you can remove the maintenance box, and wash it out under a sink, reinsert it back, then use reset counter. this is far cheaper. Ever wondered why Epson needed to block you from doing this? because they want to make unecessary waste so they can charge you for something you probably don't need. Downside though, is you never know if these unofficial apps have malware in them or not. Also some of these apps require a key purchase for each reset. whereas some have unlimited resets for a price. not sure but there may even be one that is totally free and unlimited use (dyor). And there is even one where they can mod for certain printers, so that the waste ink goes into a bottle container which you can easily dump empty into the sink easily. Might not look pretty but it's quite practical and saves you a headache in maintenance. so either go with the official route, or chance on the third party route 😢

THE Replacement is ten dollars do you think it is better to just spend that versus cleaning and does not work.@@BestPrinters how do you get the app. my box is far from full or dirty , so why is my printer saying it is and expired. Bought this printer last may.
Hi, could you tell me which is a better buy the Epson 1500 or brother's MFC L3780CDW there both the same price but the Epson came out 2 yrs ago and the brothers is new? Which do you think is the better buy.

My et 1170 said I need a new box but no examples on how to tell the printer the new one is installed and my printer is doing ink and paper flickering

I would like to request the video regarding Print Head nozzle comparison between Canon Maxify GX7070 (4352 nozzles) vs Epson L15160 (800 x 1 nozzles for each Black,Cyan,Magenta,Yellow = 3200 nozzles) how this affects printing qualities 2nd I would like to ask the difference between Ink used by epson for their different models like in india they use Ink 001, 003, & 008 (durabrite ET inks)
