Does the ink dry? Mine never does on another hp model so looking to replace. I change the settings according to what I’m printer and the black ink never dries.

Thank you SO incredibly much for replying! This printer is exactly the same model and make but a few years older- will different drivers really get installed? It won’t somehow ’confuse’ things on the mac and printer if I have 2 drivers that are exactly the same? I did also have some communication issues with my other printer. The only reason I’m scared of uninstalling it is fear that the uninstallation process will prevent me somehow installing it again! lol ! 😂

There is a possibility that it uses the same driver, but there is another possibility that it use a new driver and yes, you can have more than one driver on a Mac.

@@BestPrinters thank you! I removed the old driver ( saved on usb tho) and installed this one as a ‘fresh ‘/ clean install printer etc. it’s wonderful ☺️

Thank you so much- I just commented on another video but it’s old so worried you may not see it! Sorry for sounding so dumb- I just really dont want another printer to screw up somehow! I just recieved a replacement printer- the other one had issues. Epson workforce They are exactly the same model and make, although this one of course is a few years newer (2021 vs 2024) Would it be best to remove the printer, and uninstall all the drives and then when i plug the new one in, Re-install them as a ‘clean’/fresh install to set up the new printer (or it will do it automatically like last time)? I hope that make sense! Thank you! I have a macbook pro 15" 2015 and the printer is an epson workforce printer (dont say anything negative about it at the moment please! LOL!) Oh! When i got the first printer, I didnt actually go to the site and dowload it all... Just did it automatically when i hooked it all up. I would hate to uninstall it and have issues re-installing but thought it may be best to install the new one as if I never had one before.... what would you do? And sorry this must sound dumb. I just checked the driver and I’m pretty sure the one on my computer is the most up to date one

Hi Paige, there are no dumb questions here. There is no need to remove the old driver from your previous printer. Once you start the set up process for this new printer, a new driver will be installed and everything will function the way it needs to. thank you for asking this question. If you would like a quick response, what you did is great open a new comment in the morning time and I will see it.
