Cousins is a good QB. Someone who barely makes mistakes and looses you games. But also barely wins you games on his own. Since becoming a Starter he averages 1.83 TD per game, 0.67 INT and 268 YDS... If this guy was on the Cowboys for the last 5 years for example, I am pretty sure they wouldve reached the Superbowl at least once. He is something around the 8th-13th best QB in the league right now. Is that worth the money? No clue... but whatever happens, you can at least be sure that QB play will not be the problem why your team looses. And thats at least worth something.

"He does everything better than Baker Mayfield, but nothing better than Matthew Stafford." That's a pretty accurate statement. I liked Kirk in Minnesota. He was over hated by many and overrated by some, but overall, he was a solid qb that, on occasion made some Romo-esque mistakes. With the right team around him he can win a superbowl, like Stafford did. I just don't think Atlanta is that team.

I would say Baker is better than Kirk, as Baker does win playoff games when given a shot. Baker, however, does not have fat stacks of cash at home. So once again, Kirk reigns supreme.

Sure, Kirk has had guaranteed contracts his whole career but the trade-off is that you’re not the highest paid quarterback either. Kirk was the 15th highest paid quarterback when he was Minnesota.

Hmm, let's see: check downs....Kirk has one of the lowest checkdown rates in the league garbage time....the Vikings haven't had any garbage time games for at least the past 3 seasons....due to ALL of the close games. stat stuffer....another QB with the same stats would be considered an MVP or top 10 quarterback. That's quite the double standard.

Before this injury, he hadn’t missed a game due to injury in his 12 year career. He throws 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs every season like clockwork. His career passer rating is 98.2. which is the 8th highest passer rating in NFL history…in NFL history. He’s 5th all-time in completion percentage. His passing yards per game also ranks 10th all-time in the history of the NFL. Say the Falcons had signed Garoppolo, who is a 2x Super Bowl winner, but can’t stay healthy and got benched for a rookie, they wouldn't have paid him that kind of money. It's a team sport, dude. Players are not paid based on wins BECAUSE it’s a team sport. Quarterbacks can only control what the offense does.

Kirk Cousins is the most mediocre QB that gets no hate from anyone for being mediocre, because he throws for a lot of yards. He's had prime Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook to hand off too & prime Justin Jefferson, he really isn't going to win you anything. He'll probably be an analyst, or in the booth when he retires.
