  sure anthony doesnt have a spectacular range and doesn't always perform the best live, but he has such a smoothe and unique voice in my opinion it fits the chili peppers so well and represents his soul so well he is such an important part of the band because he is drastically different from the rest of the members. i mean, all the members are drastically different personality, taste and musicianship wise but thats what makes them so good. rhjcp would be good without him, but they wouldnt be rhcp. and they wouldnt be as good or special. anthony adds a weird and silly but cosmic depth to the band and i appreciate it so much! i also really admire his mindset these days... and his new stage moves. hes a great performer and singer becayse he sticks out. rhcp wouldnt be as good with some super conventionally good singer that sounds like a lot of other bands.or if john was their singer. his rapping in the 80s was not the way to go. and john inspired him to actually start singing and finding a voice and style that represented their new lifestyle, as the punk and rapping shit was just a reflection of their crazy young lives. rhcp are so good because you get to watch them grow into adults and grow into their lives as the albums go on. and watching anthonys progression musically wise and personality wise is so magical. californication is really a rebirth album for all of them. the things the band went through that made them mature make me admire them so much especially anthony if you have noticed how he acted in the 80s compared to late 90s and so on. and the older he gets the better he getd in every way. anthonys vocals on one hot minute and californication are legendary. so unique. and anthony can sound so good when he uses certain styles. he sounds so good on purple stain and falling into grace.
