My only experience has been to paint on paper or canvas. I have had a request to paint a wall mural. Given that I have no experience, I found you post of great interest. On my part, more research now needed! Thank you!
The waving and uneven sides come from the big mold you're using that has the plastic housing. The mold isn't sitting perfectly in the corners of the hard plastic housing. It's very difficult to align everything because of the silicone grabs onto the plastic. Maybe try using some kind of flour to help it slide into place. Just check to make sure each corner lines up exactly in each corner and you might want to cut the little corner lip used on the silicone mold that's used to grab it in order to pull it out... that makes the line weird in that corner because it pushes up against the plastic housing holding the mold. lol
very nice. im guna restore an old frog statue that was my girlfriend mother ( resently passed) n bury a few of my sisters asshes under it. ( she passed 2 years ago). she absolutely loved frogs. i have one of her little frog statue on my nightstand. thanks for your help 😃
Great idea! Do you really need that much powder pigment? I seem to get similar results with a fraction of the powder. But then I'm also working with UV resin.
I'm sorry Laura go do some research on what Dr. Wilhelm Reich was doing. No "shungite" means not orgonite period. Stop scamming the public on misinformed knowledge. Thanks
LOVE that neon green!🥰🥰 ooh very nice under the blacklight
Did you see that girl on KZread do birth of Venus? Mindblowing
What kind of resin did u use ?, is it epoxy or other resin type ? Tysm really cool chess board ❤❤
I'm so glad you liked it, I used this epoxy resin: amzn.to/47yGXDo
So amazing, as always. Love it!!

Thank you so much, Rosie! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ♥ 🤗
I've also seen someone use like one of those wand lighter across the resin to take out bubbles
Yes, that also works!
Very nice, my friend. Lovely to watch another serene flow of creativity 💜🖤💜Hope your universe is finding the ground or space it needs. TTFN!
Thank you, Steve! It's nice to hear from you, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. We're getting there. I hope the Universe is treating you well, my friend! TTFN! ♥
Your art is incredible, spectacular and your palet so beautiful... Lightly
Thank you so much, my friend! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!😊🙏❤️
A humongous carbon footprint for an epic display of frustrated infant scatology.
I'm glad to have provided the inspiration for such a poetic insight. Thanks for watching!
Do you messure metals to resin?
I try to achieve a 50/50 metal/resin ratio now, but I approximate rather than measure. I learned a lot after making this first piece. Thanks for asking!
You did a great job with your board and pieces. I like how you added character with the marble effects. That’s exactly what I want to do.
Thank you, I'm so glad it was helpful😊🙏
Lovely as always!! Incredible the way they turn out! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Andi! It was a fun day in my garage studio 😊❤️
@@LauraDreams It looks like it! That first one is super cool! But for some reason I like that muted brown tone one! ❤
Beautiful art and music for relaxation. Have a pleasant week dear Laura
Thank you so much, Kristijan. Have a wonderful week❤️😊🙏
@@LauraDreams You are welcome my friend ☺I wish you a pleasant week as well 💕
What is the glue mixture?
I think I did 2 parts glue and one part paint, to which I added a little water to make it more fluid.
She convinced me about the waffles
LOL! Waffles every Saturday!
SWEET FRIEND I LOVE DRAGONS AND THIS PAINTING IS GORGEOUS I ADORE AND LOVE YOUR PAINTINGS AND CHANNEL THEY ARE CREATIVELY BEAUTIFUL AND I PROMISE I WILL SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD❤❤❤
Thank you so much, my friend! I'm so glad you enoyed it!
Perfect job, can you specify the overall resin's quantity for the chessboard and the overall quantity of epoxy resin for chess pieces? I've got the molds thank you so much
Thank you, I don't exactly know the precise amounts, as I was pouring other things that day too. But, looking at the video, I would approximate 4-5 ounces of resin for the pieces, and for the first squares on the board, another 4-5 ounces. For the rest of the board, when the first squares are cured, I think about 7-8 ounces of resin. I hope that helps!
So cool. Hope you are well, Laura! Thanks so much for showing this technique I would never have thought to do this. But I don't know much about pouring except what I learn from you!
You are so welcome, Andi. I have another fluid art video on the way. Have a great weekend!
Thankyou heaps, but just hold them stiller next time cause im feeling dizzy.
Thank you, i have an assignment where i need to draw these and this tutorial is my help in my time of need 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🙏
Most welcome, I'm glad it was helpful! 😊
Do you put a top coat/sealer on when you are done?
Hi Jana, I didn't add varnish on this one, because it is in a covered and shaded area, but if the mural is in the sun, or in a high-traffic area, I varnish it with Modern Masters UV varnish, or just polyurethane. Thanks for watching!
You are an amazing artist! Attention to details makes a difference! Beautiful soothing painting! ❤
I appreciate it, Kathy! All the best ♥
This is awesome! Love it ~
Thank you, Kathy! I'm so glad you love it ♥
What material did you use for this amazing painting?? 😍😍 And was the black background still wet in moment you made the flowers?
Hello, I used fluid acrylic paint and a piece of string. Yes, the background was wet. Thank you for watching! ♥
@@LauraDreams does the string have to be polyester or something specific?
