It's incredible to me how you tackle these big projects. Not just through planning and art experience but maintaining the discipline to make it to completion. I think that can be the most difficult part as an artist because it's so tempting to start something, get discouraged and never visit again. Your advice on finding good podcasts to listen to, to make the process enjoyable when it can feel tedious is great advice and maybe something I'd like to try for my next painting. Beautifully done piece and thank you for sharing your process in this video.

Thank you, Clara, I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Well, there has to be discipline, because the job has to be done, lol. There's no quitting, there's only going forward . When you approach art- and everything else- as a non-negotiable, that gives you a sense of strength. I'll have to think about this and word it right, talk about it more. Listening to stuff that I like makes me excited to go paint, it's so relaxing and makes all the difference. Thanks again, and happy arting! :D

@@LauraDreams Oh, gosh. He has sooo many books, I really need to get to them all. I read a few of the discworld books out of order along with a few others. I think one was Night Watch and something with Dragon in the title. I THINK that was a discworld book. It was years ago. I’ll have to see if I still have the books somewhere.
