Hello, I find your application very practical and efficient, but I would like to suggest an improvement that could greatly increase its usefulness for users like me. Currently, I use two iPads synchronized through your application. One is connected to my mixing console via USB. I would like the second iPad to be able to control the first one while allowing the sound to come out of the first iPad. However, when I control the first iPad with the second, the sound does not come out of the first iPad as expected. Here is what I wish: 1. Remote Control: Be able to control an iPad connected to a mixing console from a second iPad. 2. Audio Output: Ensure that the audio continues to come out of the first iPad (the one connected to the mixing console) even when it is controlled by the second iPad. It is also possible that this feature already exists, but I have not found it because I do not speak English well and the application is not translated into French. hi Peter, can you please tell me how to replace an audio file without loosing lyrics, time codes, chords, etc, I know I'm supposed to overwrite the existing file when importing but I don't know how to get to that. You can do that in the Files app. Select the new file, tap on copy, then navigate to the Stage Traxx 3 folder and tap on paste.

Good morning Peter, I hope you are fine. I am a part time Guitar performer and Stage Tracks 3 is definitely something I will use going forward. I can tell from the features in the tool that you know what live performers want. Going through all the tutorials, I would like to suggest a few shortcomings you may be interested in adding. 8 outgoing midi channels for instruments and the possibility of displaying chords in graphical form. The first feature is because I do use a integra 7 sound module for my backup tracks and the second feature is for more complex chords without having to revert to the pdf file. Cheers ! I really love what you have done and will be buying the tool upon returning from my vacation. 😎

What do you mean by 8 outgoing midi channels? You can already use 16 midi channels.

I already have an extensive library of song using midi tracks for backing tracks (as opposed to wav or mp3) these also have the karaoke lyrics embedded into a midi track. I currently use sweet midi controller during live performance driving the intégra 7 midi sound module. I said 8 tracks because I know you already have 8 tracks for mp3 backups but of course, 16 would be perfect. Sometime I perform with another lead guitar and sometimes just by myself therefore I want to be able to mute some midi tracks from the interface like you can do when you arrange songs in ST3. My current understanding is in order to fully utilize ST3 features, I would need to bake each midi track into an MP3 analog track?

I feel using a midi sound module delivers a better quality live performance for people who’s main instrument is the guitar(which is not so good in midi) 😊 so the module is perfect for backup track like keyboard , bass & drums

Hi, just one think missing here is , lyrics should auto align to 2 or 3 columns so the full song visible in one page so that we need not have to worry about scrolling ect.. these options available in songpro , onesong apps, I think its possible here to . So the app developers should consider this as well. Thanks

I don't think multiple columns would work with auto scrolling. Yes, without scrolling you would be able to see more text on the screen, but I think it is better to have a large font with less text displayed on the screen when the correct portion of the lyrics is always centered on the screen.

Hi Peter! Is there an easy way to import multiple files simultaneously? I see on ( 5:40 ) that you import one by one and it takes a long time when creating a large number of songs. Considering an organized method as you show (01 - drums / 02 bass, etc..) with the files numbered as the same, it would be nice to select all files you want to import or drag to the tracks ;)

Currently that's not possible. File access in iOS is quite limitted. I don't think you can drag a file from the file selector or outside the app into a specific component (in this case a track) in the app.

@@sorokabaville You can do that in Settings > Audio Routing. Set the track output you don't need to "Disabled". This will affect all songs.

Hi,I always appreciated a stage Traxx,used it for my singing\backing up tracks,but majorly in the last years as the supportive music for my yoga classes.i could deal with the technology pretty well,then out of a sudden certain tracks were in the read,did not work anymore/my iCloud was backed up,so in the end I bought the updated stage Traxx 3 version.,only not being able to handle it at all,cancelled it,then in need of this platform and trusting to find a way to handle it,I purchased it again ,@and somehow stuck again… I want a continuous playlist,where I don’t have to tap at the next track,even after your tutorial and clicking on auto play,the tunes seemed not to follow me I liked the former format much more,similiar comes up occasionally ,but disappears. At todays yoga class I tried the new version,it started not too bad,then the volume had been too loud,and I had to fiddle during the class,the older version had an easy access volume button,as well my wished playlist did not succeed. In the end I changed to apple music,what I did not intend to🙏

1) Set your song volumes so that all your songs have the same perceived loudness 2) Either use a bluetooth midi device or an Airturn device that supports the Airturn Direct protocol. Don't buy page turners that emulate a keyboard. 3) Not sure yet.

Hi Peter, I can't any other way to contact you, so I thought I'd just try commenting on your video. Great work on the app. I have an issue with hosting sessions and joining sessions. As a band we use the host/join session function, and it works very well. My bass player wants to display his own PDF's on a small amount of song he finds difficult, but see the shared lyrics of the majority of the songs. Is there a way to activate PDF's on your own iPad while still being joined to a session? Regards, Darren.

You can run Stage Traxx on macOS Big Sur and later. Your in app purchase is valid for all devices running with your AppleId. Bandmates using their own iPads need to purchase their own license. Most actions (like start/stop) can be mapped to keys or midi commands.

Would it be possible to add importing also .lrc lyrics files? .lrc file is simply the .txt file, no difference comparing to .txt format. And yet another feature: it would be great having a possibility to import audio and lyrics files simultaneously. So, when you import audio file, and when correponding .txt (or .lrc) file is present in the same directory (same file names .mp3, .txt, .lrc) then the lyrics will automatically applied into the song. I believe this feature would be awesome!

Just rename your lrc files to txt and they will import. But not all commands in that file will be supported. Stage Traxx can only import files that you select in the file browser. It is not allowed to read the contents of the directory where that file is located.

In einer Textzeile bekomme ich nur dann Probleme, wenn die Akkorde am Zeilenende nebeneinander stehen. Gibt es ein sicheres Zeichen, dass die Zeile nicht unleserlich macht oder hast du nen Tipp, weil ich was überlesen habe? Danke 🙂

What happened to the brackets [midi:] prefix that was specified in the online user manual? The syntax provided there worked fine for months and, recently, just stopped working for changing PC settings via WIDI Jack (w/ latest FW) on my Roland GT1000CORE? This syntax is completely incomplete and/or entirely different than that stated in the user manual. E.G.: I NEVER previously included the midi channel and it worked fine. When did this change take place? I have no idea.

@@stagetraxx Peter - I do not understand what has happened, but, suddenly, the syntax I previously embedded in the (iPad - 9th generation) Lyrics, as stated clearly in the online Stage Traxx3 User Manual, is no longer implementing Program Changes in my Roland GT-1000CORE via the paired WIDI Jack with the current firmware installed. The WIDI Jack flashes, as though the command is received, but the CORE patch remains unchanged. The syntax (example) I was previously embedding to have the PC occur when the song is selected, as a (first) single, unshared line, was as follows: [midi: PC008.1@00:00:00]. Under this command was [midi: SS@play] which still starts playing the song selected upon triggering it from a paired Roland FS-1-WL Bluetooth midi foot switch. I have tried other variations of the PC syntax and even have the CORE set to Omni mode. I never previously had to designate the midi channel after “@“ in the syntax, only the 00:00:00 time stamp and the PC changes would activate, based upon one PC number preceding the desired patch, as the Roland patches began with “00”. There are 4 banks and I am only using Bank 1, hence, the “.1” following the PC number. I seriously am at a loss to regain the operation I previously had with regard to “PC” implementation from Stage Traxx, and this has negatively impacted my weekend solo performances. Please comment, as reading and re-reading the Midi section of the User Manual, as well as following the instruction on the KZread videos has not resolved this problem. Thanks. 🎩😎🤙

@@patdahat7028 There never was a version of Stage Traxx where the timecode would be written after the midi command. The timecode always needs to be after the midi tag before the command. Same for the play command. Take another good look at the midi documentation and at the examples posted there: stagetraxx.com/user-guide/midi/#send-midi

Hi Peter, we have talked before. I have managed to get iTunes to connect from my Windows 11 laptop with my iPhone, even if it is an older model. A nice lady from Apple ran me through it. We have used Stage Traxx for quite a while now because it is the only app that stops at the end of each track, which is what I need, or at least we have never found another one. I do have a few problems though. One is that it is a bit erratic? Sometimes the + to add tracks appears, other times it doesn't. Another one is why do different colours appear on the list of tracks on Stage Traxx (we had 3), saying for example playing next, even if didn't choose it, just in the middle of the list? And sometimes the screen with the playlist becomes very tiny, no idea why and not easy to get it to go back to normal and show the playlist properly. Also if I need to get new songs from the Library into Stage Traxx main list, when I manage to find the + again, sometimes the window showing where to import them appears, other times it doesn't? Am I doing something wrong? Will watch your tutorial, thanks.

First time no problem at all, then added a couple more songs to the library and the + button on the top of Stage Traxx wouldn't show anymore, then we clicked around, not even know what we were doing and it eventually appeared again. This has happened in the past as well while trying to add songs to the playlists. Somehow things work at times and then don't work. Do you maybe know why?

Some of mine are too long for me to easily see which tracks they are, as I change the pitch, speed and need to know whether I am picking the correct ones, so by now I would have preferred that I had made the titles shorter but don't want to remover them all, change them on my computer and put them back again and then create playlists. Seems like you don't have proper line endings in your lyrics. Maybe you used shift-return instead of return only. Hard to tell from a distance. You could send me the lyrics with this issue so that I could investigate.

I am considering moving to this app from another app. The biggest issue I am having with the other app is storage. The storage for the same library varies widely across devices. Hopefully this is good with this app. Am I able to add countoffs before the start of songs in this app?

Storage will be the same on all devices except when you use iCloud syncing. iCloud syncing needs its own cache files that can easily take up 2 times the space of your library. So only use iCloud syncing for smaller libraries or if you have more than enough space.

Hi Peter! Now and then im facing issues with my multi track songs. Track 1 and 2 (Drums and Bass) are ok while sometimes the 3rd track (Pianos or Brass) starts slightly later and out of tempo creating a total caos and i have to mute that track chanel imidiatly. Why is this hapening ? Btw, all tracks are in .mp3 format.

Best guess: your files are using a different sample rate than the one you set for the audio engine. I can only tell if you send me your logfiles after this has happened via Settings > Create Support Email. Don't forget to write which song was affected.

ST3 has no ableton link. Syncing playback to external drum machines does not work as playback start in ST3 is not immediate and varies based on the number of tracks you use.

not sure of the programming but on second thought not much is really immediate and everything buffered, and as far as sync the slave unit just waits to lock with master clock at top of bar like a taxi picking up multiple people it just waits so everyone can go together... just food for thought. ST3 is superior in every way for running tracks and music and lyrics - even with loop repeats, but if wanting live changeable locking sounds - synths drum machines etc, it comes to an either/or situation. it is an exciting journey nonetheless ; )

Hi. Since I updated to iOS 17.4 this week, unfortunately yesterday I had issues during my show, with Stage Traxx 3. All the songs had dropouts along the night. I know I should have backup system and I learned the hard way. So, is there any update to fix this issue?

If it still happens after that, send me your logfiles via Settings > Create support email and write in the email at what time the dropbout happened last and what type of iPad you are running. Also increase the audio buffer in Settings > Playback Settings. And make sure no other apps are running in the background.

You can delete your audio files from iCloud. The full backup contains all your audio files.

Hello, I find your application very practical and efficient, but I would like to suggest an improvement that could greatly increase its usefulness for users like me. Currently, I use two iPads synchronized through your application. One is connected to my mixing console via USB. I would like the second iPad to be able to control the first one while allowing the sound to come out of the first iPad. However, when I control the first iPad with the second, the sound does not come out of the first iPad as expected. Here is what I wish: 1. Remote Control: Be able to control an iPad connected to a mixing console from a second iPad. 2. Audio Output: Ensure that the audio continues to come out of the first iPad (the one connected to the mixing console) even when it is controlled by the second iPad. It is also possible that this feature already exists, but I have not found it because I do not speak English well and the application is not translated into French. This feature has been requested quite often and is on my todo list for the next big version 4 which is scheduled for sometime next year.
hi Peter, can you please tell me how to replace an audio file without loosing lyrics, time codes, chords, etc, I know I'm supposed to overwrite the existing file when importing but I don't know how to get to that. I import the Mp3 file from my drive and it simply duplicates the song in Stagetraxxx, one with the data and one empty... help please!
You can do that in the Files app. Select the new file, tap on copy, then navigate to the Stage Traxx 3 folder and tap on paste.

Video files are not supported only audio in the formats: wav, aif, mp3, m4a

Good morning Peter, I hope you are fine. I am a part time Guitar performer and Stage Tracks 3 is definitely something I will use going forward. I can tell from the features in the tool that you know what live performers want. Going through all the tutorials, I would like to suggest a few shortcomings you may be interested in adding. 8 outgoing midi channels for instruments and the possibility of displaying chords in graphical form. The first feature is because I do use a integra 7 sound module for my backup tracks and the second feature is for more complex chords without having to revert to the pdf file. Cheers ! I really love what you have done and will be buying the tool upon returning from my vacation. 😎
What do you mean by 8 outgoing midi channels? You can already use 16 midi channels.
I already have an extensive library of song using midi tracks for backing tracks (as opposed to wav or mp3) these also have the karaoke lyrics embedded into a midi track. I currently use sweet midi controller during live performance driving the intégra 7 midi sound module. I said 8 tracks because I know you already have 8 tracks for mp3 backups but of course, 16 would be perfect. Sometime I perform with another lead guitar and sometimes just by myself therefore I want to be able to mute some midi tracks from the interface like you can do when you arrange songs in ST3. My current understanding is in order to fully utilize ST3 features, I would need to bake each midi track into an MP3 analog track?
I feel using a midi sound module delivers a better quality live performance for people who’s main instrument is the guitar(which is not so good in midi) 😊 so the module is perfect for backup track like keyboard , bass & drums
@@guylanglois7802 That's right. ST3 can not play MIDI files. You need to render them as audio.

Hi, just one think missing here is , lyrics should auto align to 2 or 3 columns so the full song visible in one page so that we need not have to worry about scrolling ect.. these options available in songpro , onesong apps, I think its possible here to . So the app developers should consider this as well. Thanks
I don't think multiple columns would work with auto scrolling. Yes, without scrolling you would be able to see more text on the screen, but I think it is better to have a large font with less text displayed on the screen when the correct portion of the lyrics is always centered on the screen.
@@stagetraxx Thank you for the quick response.. yes completely agree, I want to avoid scrolling as I don’t always follow the bars and sometimes play a solo little more. But this can be an additional option for the people who use large screen devices . May be you can consider this for the future update if possible. Thanks
Is there a way to ‘skip’ a region? For instance a guitar solo section?
Only if you have another region defined directly after the one you want to skip. In that case just tap on that region and playback will jump to it on the next region border.

Hi Peter! Is there an easy way to import multiple files simultaneously? I see on ( 5:40 ) that you import one by one and it takes a long time when creating a large number of songs. Considering an organized method as you show (01 - drums / 02 bass, etc..) with the files numbered as the same, it would be nice to select all files you want to import or drag to the tracks ;)
Currently that's not possible. File access in iOS is quite limitted. I don't think you can drag a file from the file selector or outside the app into a specific component (in this case a track) in the app.

@@sorokabaville Stage Traxx on Mac is not a real desktop app. It is just the iPad app converted to run on the desktop but it does not support desktop specific functions. Capabilities and limitations are the same as on iOS.
@@stagetraxx Got it. Taking this opportunity, I would like to suggest some news. Would it be possible to have a tab or option to create a mixer of the outputs, including a volume fader and mute button? So, when I perform in different band formats (with or without drums, bass, keyboard, etc.) I would have the option of enabling or not these channels in general for all songs. @@sorokabaville You can do that in Settings > Audio Routing. Set the track output you don't need to "Disabled". This will affect all songs.
Hi,I always appreciated a stage Traxx,used it for my singing\backing up tracks,but majorly in the last years as the supportive music for my yoga classes.i could deal with the technology pretty well,then out of a sudden certain tracks were in the read,did not work anymore/my iCloud was backed up,so in the end I bought the updated stage Traxx 3 version.,only not being able to handle it at all,cancelled it,then in need of this platform and trusting to find a way to handle it,I purchased it again ,@and somehow stuck again… I want a continuous playlist,where I don’t have to tap at the next track,even after your tutorial and clicking on auto play,the tunes seemed not to follow me I liked the former format much more,similiar comes up occasionally ,but disappears. At todays yoga class I tried the new version,it started not too bad,then the volume had been too loud,and I had to fiddle during the class,the older version had an easy access volume button,as well my wished playlist did not succeed. In the end I changed to apple music,what I did not intend to🙏

The free version has a 6 song limit. The full version has no limit.
Hi Peter. I love this app. I have 3 questions please. 1. Is the "Song Volume" part of the Gain Structure or is it best kept at 0 db? Need to avoid clipping. 2. Connecting via bluetooth, what would you recommend using to control Play, Stop, Next etc? 3. Any plans to add a meter to actually see the file output level? 1) Set your song volumes so that all your songs have the same perceived loudness 2) Either use a bluetooth midi device or an Airturn device that supports the Airturn Direct protocol. Don't buy page turners that emulate a keyboard. 3) Not sure yet.
Hi Peter, I can't any other way to contact you, so I thought I'd just try commenting on your video. Great work on the app. I have an issue with hosting sessions and joining sessions. As a band we use the host/join session function, and it works very well. My bass player wants to display his own PDF's on a small amount of song he finds difficult, but see the shared lyrics of the majority of the songs. Is there a way to activate PDF's on your own iPad while still being joined to a session? Regards, Darren.

Yes, create a lyrics only song. If you then set a duration in song details even autoscrolling will work.
is it possible to use on a macbook pro also, are multiple downloads allowed, eg; i want to gig with another musician, can that person have a copy on their ipad? if so where is the setting for that. Another question is, do you have to use the mouse for the start stop button, ideally id like to use the space bar
You can run Stage Traxx on macOS Big Sur and later. Your in app purchase is valid for all devices running with your AppleId. Bandmates using their own iPads need to purchase their own license. Most actions (like start/stop) can be mapped to keys or midi commands.
Would it be possible to add importing also .lrc lyrics files? .lrc file is simply the .txt file, no difference comparing to .txt format. And yet another feature: it would be great having a possibility to import audio and lyrics files simultaneously. So, when you import audio file, and when correponding .txt (or .lrc) file is present in the same directory (same file names .mp3, .txt, .lrc) then the lyrics will automatically applied into the song. I believe this feature would be awesome!
Just rename your lrc files to txt and they will import. But not all commands in that file will be supported. Stage Traxx can only import files that you select in the file browser. It is not allowed to read the contents of the directory where that file is located.

Wenn Du mehrere Akkorde in ein Tag packst, dann kannst Du dort über die Anzahl der Leerzeichen den Abstand steuern. Beispiel: [Am D]
@@stagetraxx Vielleicht erkläre ich es schlecht. Ich habe mehrere Akkorde in eckigen Klammern nebeneinander z.B. für ein Intro. Manchmal werden Leerzeichen anerkannt, manchmal der Tab. In einer Textzeile bekomme ich nur dann Probleme, wenn die Akkorde am Zeilenende nebeneinander stehen. Gibt es ein sicheres Zeichen, dass die Zeile nicht unleserlich macht oder hast du nen Tipp, weil ich was überlesen habe? Danke 🙂

What happened to the brackets [midi:] prefix that was specified in the online user manual? The syntax provided there worked fine for months and, recently, just stopped working for changing PC settings via WIDI Jack (w/ latest FW) on my Roland GT1000CORE? This syntax is completely incomplete and/or entirely different than that stated in the user manual. E.G.: I NEVER previously included the midi channel and it worked fine. When did this change take place? I have no idea.
Nothing happened to it. The midi channel always had to be specified.
@@stagetraxx Peter - I do not understand what has happened, but, suddenly, the syntax I previously embedded in the (iPad - 9th generation) Lyrics, as stated clearly in the online Stage Traxx3 User Manual, is no longer implementing Program Changes in my Roland GT-1000CORE via the paired WIDI Jack with the current firmware installed. The WIDI Jack flashes, as though the command is received, but the CORE patch remains unchanged. The syntax (example) I was previously embedding to have the PC occur when the song is selected, as a (first) single, unshared line, was as follows: [midi: PC008.1@00:00:00]. Under this command was [midi: SS@play] which still starts playing the song selected upon triggering it from a paired Roland FS-1-WL Bluetooth midi foot switch. I have tried other variations of the PC syntax and even have the CORE set to Omni mode. I never previously had to designate the midi channel after “@“ in the syntax, only the 00:00:00 time stamp and the PC changes would activate, based upon one PC number preceding the desired patch, as the Roland patches began with “00”. There are 4 banks and I am only using Bank 1, hence, the “.1” following the PC number. I seriously am at a loss to regain the operation I previously had with regard to “PC” implementation from Stage Traxx, and this has negatively impacted my weekend solo performances. Please comment, as reading and re-reading the Midi section of the User Manual, as well as following the instruction on the KZread videos has not resolved this problem. Thanks. 🎩😎🤙
@@patdahat7028 There never was a version of Stage Traxx where the timecode would be written after the midi command. The timecode always needs to be after the midi tag before the command. Same for the play command. Take another good look at the midi documentation and at the examples posted there: stagetraxx.com/user-guide/midi/#send-midi
Why is Play red and stopped green? I find that so misleading... you would think that when the song is playing the button would be green.
Hi Peter, we have talked before. I have managed to get iTunes to connect from my Windows 11 laptop with my iPhone, even if it is an older model. A nice lady from Apple ran me through it. We have used Stage Traxx for quite a while now because it is the only app that stops at the end of each track, which is what I need, or at least we have never found another one. I do have a few problems though. One is that it is a bit erratic? Sometimes the + to add tracks appears, other times it doesn't. Another one is why do different colours appear on the list of tracks on Stage Traxx (we had 3), saying for example playing next, even if didn't choose it, just in the middle of the list? And sometimes the screen with the playlist becomes very tiny, no idea why and not easy to get it to go back to normal and show the playlist properly. Also if I need to get new songs from the Library into Stage Traxx main list, when I manage to find the + again, sometimes the window showing where to import them appears, other times it doesn't? Am I doing something wrong? Will watch your tutorial, thanks.
You can only add songs from the songs tab. I would strongly suggest you read at least the overview chapter in the manual. All your questions are answered there: stagetraxx.com/user-guide/overview/
@@stagetraxx Thanks, I will.... I didn't know that there was a manual. Yes, I only want to add songs that I have put in the Library. First time no problem at all, then added a couple more songs to the library and the + button on the top of Stage Traxx wouldn't show anymore, then we clicked around, not even know what we were doing and it eventually appeared again. This has happened in the past as well while trying to add songs to the playlists. Somehow things work at times and then don't work. Do you maybe know why?

@@stagetraxx One more question if you don't mind, Peter.... Can one modify the titles of the songs on Stage Traxx? Some of mine are too long for me to easily see which tracks they are, as I change the pitch, speed and need to know whether I am picking the correct ones, so by now I would have preferred that I had made the titles shorter but don't want to remover them all, change them on my computer and put them back again and then create playlists. Too much work...

The Blueboard is a midi device. You can not connect it as a Airturn device.

You mean the backup file? Open Settings > Restore Backup.

Help! When doing time code editing, the cursor goes to the next verse not the next line. It was doing the correct way before but not now. I might have pressed something accidentally.
Seems like you don't have proper line endings in your lyrics. Maybe you used shift-return instead of return only. Hard to tell from a distance. You could send me the lyrics with this issue so that I could investigate.
Hello Peter. Love the App. Is there any way you can allow scrolling on PDF files. I can’t flick up the page whilst playing a lead part. Songbook Pro has this ability, can you do the same? Thanks, Dennis.
I don't know what you mean. I can scroll manually in pdf files.
I meant automatic scrolling as is possible in Songbook Pro.

I am considering moving to this app from another app. The biggest issue I am having with the other app is storage. The storage for the same library varies widely across devices. Hopefully this is good with this app. Am I able to add countoffs before the start of songs in this app?
Storage will be the same on all devices except when you use iCloud syncing. iCloud syncing needs its own cache files that can easily take up 2 times the space of your library. So only use iCloud syncing for smaller libraries or if you have more than enough space.
curious if way to have either or option in PDFs - A/B chord chart, lyric chart, etc. possibly in future update? also another game-changer would be able to add Ableton Link sync out per song tempo start stop to link tracks with AUM, drum machines, etc. LOVE ST3s!
Hi Peter! Now and then im facing issues with my multi track songs. Track 1 and 2 (Drums and Bass) are ok while sometimes the 3rd track (Pianos or Brass) starts slightly later and out of tempo creating a total caos and i have to mute that track chanel imidiatly. Why is this hapening ? Btw, all tracks are in .mp3 format.
Best guess: your files are using a different sample rate than the one you set for the audio engine. I can only tell if you send me your logfiles after this has happened via Settings > Create Support Email. Don't forget to write which song was affected.

thanks for the great app! does ST3 have Ableton Link ability - ie. start a drum machine plugin synced to track?
ST3 has no ableton link. Syncing playback to external drum machines does not work as playback start in ST3 is not immediate and varies based on the number of tracks you use.

not sure of the programming but on second thought not much is really immediate and everything buffered, and as far as sync the slave unit just waits to lock with master clock at top of bar like a taxi picking up multiple people it just waits so everyone can go together... just food for thought. ST3 is superior in every way for running tracks and music and lyrics - even with loop repeats, but if wanting live changeable locking sounds - synths drum machines etc, it comes to an either/or situation. it is an exciting journey nonetheless ; )
How to connect external screen?
You need a lightning or usb-c to hdmi adapter.

Is there a way to have the background of pdf files we add for lyrics switched to black background or "dark mode"? I have the global set to dark mode, but it does nothing for the pdf files I have added?
No, Stage Traxx can not manipulate the background of pdf files.
might be something to consider adding at some point. full pages with white backgrounds really give off a lot of light on dark stages@@stagetraxx

Hi. Since I updated to iOS 17.4 this week, unfortunately yesterday I had issues during my show, with Stage Traxx 3. All the songs had dropouts along the night. I know I should have backup system and I learned the hard way. So, is there any update to fix this issue?
I have not experienced any playback issues in 17.4. I also got no other reports about dropouts in 17.4.

@@sorokabavilleReboot your iPad. If it still happens after that, send me your logfiles via Settings > Create support email and write in the email at what time the dropbout happened last and what type of iPad you are running. Also increase the audio buffer in Settings > Playback Settings. And make sure no other apps are running in the background.
