Looks like a great app. I will be downloading and paying for full version. I’ll be using for my new musical theatre project. Playlists will help me think through different orders for each act. Adding filters for different singers will help with rehearsal sessions. Brilliant.

Peter, I have one song that I’ve added to my playlist which I will sing a Capella. There are many verses and I wonder if there is a way for Stage Traxx to scroll and highlight sections of words without accompanying music. Thank you for your time and your excellent tutorials, Janie

Hi Janie, you can do that in version 3.5. Create a lyrics only song, open song details and edit the duration. Then Stage Traxx allows you to play that song (actually it is only silence) which means that timecoding your lyrics will work.

Just downloaded the App and love it so far. Looking like it will be a great tool for gigging. One suggestion - in a future release would it be possible to make slight changes to the order of the play list (i.e. move the fifth song to the top of the list and swap the 8th and 9th songs) without re-entering the whole list? Thanks!

Hi Peter … love the app! I have a bunch of backing tracks and pdf working well. Can I add pdfs only without a backing track for my solo songs? Thanks

Yes, create a lyrics only song. If you then set a duration in song details even autoscrolling will work.

Peter, I am brand new and would like to come over from OnSong. Two things: 1) is there anyway that you know of to import songs from there? 2) I noticed that in your Airturn list that there is no Previous. Is that something that can be done? Thanks, love it so far! Jack

1) You will need to export your lyrics from OnSong as text files I guess. 2) In Stage Traxx the equivalent to prev/next is "Selection Up/Down".

Wow I got excited for a minute but I can't use my zip files or CDG so the good old laptop and running Karaoke files and player will have to continue but the product seems to be loved by some many

Stage Traxx is a pure audio player. CDG and whatever these zip files contain will need to be converted before you can import it.

Hi Peter. I love this app. I have 3 questions please. 1. Is the "Song Volume" part of the Gain Structure or is it best kept at 0 db? Need to avoid clipping. 2. Connecting via bluetooth, what would you recommend using to control Play, Stop, Next etc? 3. Any plans to add a meter to actually see the file output level? 1) Set your song volumes so that all your songs have the same perceived loudness 2) Either use a bluetooth midi device or an Airturn device that supports the Airturn Direct protocol. Don't buy page turners that emulate a keyboard. 3) Not sure yet.

Hi Peter. I love ST3. Two questions. 1. How do I upgrade to ST3.5 and 2. Is it possible to use ST3 to isolate the backing track (music only) as a karaoke track and still have the lyrics scrolling Or do I need to have the backing track already before importing? Thank you D.

Upgrades are always available through the App Store. ST3 can not isolate backing tracks. You need to create them yourself or buy from vendors like karaoke-version.com

Hi Peter. Your app has been life-changing for my wife and I when doing solo and duo gigs. The only issue I have is that after replacing so many songs, or just adding songs we won't need anymore, my song list has become very messy. Is there a way to completely RESET Stage Traxx 3 and start again, that doesn't involve deleting all of the individual tracks one by one? Thank you, Rick

You can select all songs with a single tap and delete them in one go (in EDIT mode the left button in the toolbar).

No, you will need to recreate them.

Do you know why the app is not recognizing my Bluetooth device? I am trying to connect a little Bluetooth Play button so I can start the track with it but the Stage Trax is not recognizing it, the device works with other apps on my iPad.

My wish: make the six-track convertible or downloadable as a stereo two track so the adjusted mix could then be transposed etc. Just got the app so it might already be possible but how is not self-evident.

@@stagetraxx1) bcz the mix down wouldn’t be exactly the same 2) bcz that would involve extra time and effort. Time is the most precious thing we have, right? Please address my other comment about hybrid trax occurring on both iPhone and iPad. Can’t use the App unless solved. Cheers, JB

@@j.b.7332 I did anwser you on the forum. You need to make sure that filenames do not overlap. Multiple files named "track1.mp3" will overwrite each other. So name them like "song 1 - track 1.mp3" or something similar.

Can I remove play NEXT option?

No, because if you tap on a song while another is playing, that will be the next song to play and you need to see this or else you would not be able to judge what is lined up for playback.

Why won’t iTunes downloads be brought into Stage traxx3?

You can import songs from iTunes if you bought them and they are not copy protected. Copy protected songs from the Apple Music subscription can not be imported.

Einfach ein Swipe auf der Playlist nach links und schon kommt ein Menü mit den entsprechenden Optionen. So wie in jeder anderen iOS app :)
