Неплохое но очень грозное звучание рояля Bösendörfer. Старинные инструменты на много мягче и певучей звучат, а громче звук всегда можно сделать с помощью микрофонов качественных

To those saying this was messy execution, I just want you to know that this is a live performance invitation, and during this time, she might have been invited with so many recitals within a month. So she doesn't have all the energy to prepare for all events. So please understand that this is not a Studio version where you make is exactly perfect as it is. or a Competition preparation to portray perfection! Just like any other singers out there they worn out, so does Valentina. I'm a pianist myself and there are so many things to consider to perform, no.1 the type of piano to get used to. no. 2 The mood of your day, no.3 the amount of Rest and Sleep no.4 the type of music piece to play. She might have played this by memory only, and did not really prepare a lot for this. But she manages to play it with ease and with her awesome skills. Love her so much

Fabulous playing. I think she was having a bit of trouble with the piano - maybe the feel wasn't to her liking. They seemed to be fighting each other. The tone was certainly a bit dull in the mid range/treble and muddy in the bass compared to her other recordings of this piece. But regardless of the piano, for my taste, I think she is the best Beethoven pianist currently playing. Heck, I think she might be the best Beethoven pianist ever recorded. And I've heard most of them...

well.. despite my love of Valentina and Bösendorfer, I must say, that Natalie Schvamova made a far superior interpretation on Steinway during competition here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJaGt9Fmht2pnJc.html .. it´s obvious, that Natalie´s play soothes one´s soul and makes it want you listen some more.. It´s strange how anbivalnet feelings one can get, comparing two performers, whom he both likes to listen and finds out, that one with a better instrument doesn´t sound as superb as the second with comparably less superior one..

She has the gift of very high performing fast-twitch muscle fibers, but she has one slight weakness: rapid split-second fluctuations in concentration that affect muscle memory, and space sense, and cause three things; fingers not always centered on the notes, or occasional wrong notes, jumps in the dynamic progression of note series, and tiny blips in rhythm. I know exactly how it feels and there's nothing you can darn well do about it except to keep practicing the same bits over and over until you reach the limit of your own automaticity, and that becomes your own personal satisfaction of having reached a goal.... And then you go and listen to people like Cziffra and you marvel, and you cry! Incidentally, my own personal favorite pianist is Dinu Lipatti. He had everything, but the beauty of his playing is just extraordinary. Perhaps if he were recorded with today's technology, he might not seem quite so god-like, but I think he might still be my best. Unfortunately he died young, but we did get a few good recordings for the technology of the time. You don't even think about his piano technique, his accuracy from the page, and his unbroken physical and emotional concentration when you listen to him; you just get lost in the beauty of the music. There are very few, even among the greatest of pianists, who reach and maintain such perfection.
