I like how much effort you put into right pronunciation of foreign words and right stress in them. Also like your English very much. It's just great. I've been deep into English media for years now but still havent encountered so much new interesting expressions that I assume are found in English literature. Thank you for your videos and for your keeping an eye on pronounciation. Best wishes!

I think this is very much an inaccurate title. The IRA (the army) split. They did not lose because it was essentially IRA vs IRA. You would have chosen sides likely given your immediate comrades and commanders and who they went with. It was IRA vs IRA.

quite a one sided hatchet job, but why decently be objective towards the Turks when u can blame them for other's sins... still, the past can not be changed, turks are there to stay.

Mihail Ataliat - "History": "...misis are certainly the Bulgarians, who later received their new name..." ⬛ 2. Zonara, dictionary: "Paeonians - Latins or Thracian people, Macedonians. These are the so-called Pannonians. The Pannonians are Bulgarians." ⬛ 3 Fouche de Chartres, French priest, description of the First Crusade 1096: "From here they went through the lands of the Bulgarians, who are called Thracians" ⬛ 4. Ioan Tsetsas, "Hiliads": "The Paeonians are Bulgarians". ⬛ 5. Homatian, describing the life of Kliment Ohridski, explains - "This great father of ours and beacon of Bulgaria was a descendant of the European Mizis, whom the people usually know as Bulgarians." ⬛ 6. Cassiodorus (6th century, Roman historian) writes that the Bulgarians are an old Mysian or Illyrian people. ⬛ 7. Enodius of Titius (473-524, bishop, court historian of the Gothic king Theodoric) also states that the Bulgarians are an old Mysian or Illyrian people. ⬛ 8. Leo the Deacon (Byzantine historian from the 10th century) persistently calls the Bulgarians Mizis. For the Byzantines, the words Mizis, Scythians and Bulgarians meant the same thing, they used them as synonyms. ⬛ 9. The Byzantine chroniclers Ioan Skilitsa and Georgi Kedrin, reporting on the defeat of the Byzantines at the Acheloi River in 917 by King Simeon, maliciously write: "not the Bulgarian, but Simeon the Mysian defeated the Roman army with his characteristic Scythian madness". Skilitsa calls Simeon a Mizian, because the Bulgarians are Mizians, as he is. And another important thing - by attributing to Tsar Simeon the "Scythian madness", the Thracians and the Scythians are equated in the face of the Bulgarian people. ⬛ 10. Theophanes and John of Antioch, when they talk about the Bulgarians in the 5th century, use the expression "those called Bulgarians" - because Greek and Latin chronographers and chroniclers used another name - "Mizi". ⬛ 11. Ioan Malala writes: "Arrived with Atreides and Samsi Achilles with his own army, once called Myrmidons, but now Bulgarians, 3000 people". This information is also reflected in the Old Bulgarian translation of the "Iliad", made at the time of Tsar Simeon the Great at the Preslav Literary School. ⬛ 12 John Tsetsas writes: "and then they all arrived in Avlis in ships, and with them Achilles, the son of Peleus and Thetis, the daughter of the philosopher Chiron, leading an army of Huno-Bulgarian-Myrmidons numbering two thousand five hundred." ⬛ 13 Ioan Tsetsas "And the peons are Bulgarians. Do not believe fools, to think that peons are different from them."

The "Spanish Flu" was called that because in Europe only the press in neutral Spain reported on the flu. In all the combatant counties reporting on it was strictly censored. In reality, evidence points to Kansas, USA at the point of origin.

Himmler betraying Hitler at the last second is kind of funny to me and totally unsurprising. It's also a bit poetic, in a Brutus betraying Caesar kind of way, but much more satisfying.

My great-grandmother was a young woman when she experienced the Second Balkan War. As a Macedonian, she witnessed Serbian, Greek, and Bulgarian troops engaging in war propaganda and attempting to Serbianize, Bulgarianize, and Hellenize the Macedonians. The Macedonian people suffered greatly during this time until they were divided among their neighbors, making it impossible to maintain contact with family due to the new borders drawn through Macedonia. The Macedonian people are still not recognized by Bulgarian, Greek, and Serbian nationalists to this day. The outcome of the Balkan Wars still influences the sad present of the Macedonians. It's a shame that none of this was mentioned. May the Macedonian heroes who only wanted to defend themselves against their neighbors at that time rest in eternity. Long live the independent Macedonian state, long live the Macedonians 🇲🇰❤

The narrator is making one mistake about the location of the Führerbunker. He tells us that it was at the Wilhelmstrasse, but that's wrong. It was at the Gertrud-Kolmarstrasse.

The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes are where my Albanian origin sister-in-law seems to have been from, in Romania. Her multiple images were seen as pawns scattered like 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ throughout Athens in a 1980ish video about Greece, narrated by the late Carter Brown. Many of hers were brought over from the marriage to our brother, though they won't be able to present a problem currently, due to the spotlight they incurred. (OF our mother's Philadelphia gene pool one other of my ancestors was late 1st Lady Ellen Wilson and after improving D.C. inner city she "had to die." These resentments of N.Y. labeled "uppa crust" assisting the needy or poverty are DIEHARDS in their current 2024 toxic resentments and standoffs, though. They compare me to female Rasputin, unable to "do me in."

This was recorded during the covid-19 lockdown. Currently, this comment follows Pope Francis' visit to a deteriorating result of some of this history recognized, a century prior, in Venice, Italy. Previously, the Papal visit brought him to Slovenia and the border area of the Ukraine was spawned into war from Russian aggression. No one seems to know what wars will result from this chronic greed and vying for power, from each Papal visit.

I would like to hire you for our domestic analysis and over a "family history" from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, bc the consumption of me and of children from the self appointed mercenary attorneys are of that troubled region. My ancestor brought huge revenue invested for Philadelphia, as a single young Welsh woman during the late 18th C and they want that money. They already extorted a lot from the 2015 Papal visit. I want the blood money MOVED.

A fair enough presentation encapsulated in the minutes. Thank you. Our family was burdened, through marriage to a brother by the Albanian nomenclature in 1998 from Boston, and like a lunar shadow nest living through that has paralleled to viewing these 25 min histories. Has he considered delving into A. Goebbel and the effects of The Ursulines at that time ? Or, how DeValera of Ireland not only copped out, he comped the remainders from War Crime Trials in Ireland ?

On that quote about Gallipoli, I think AJP Taylor put it better - "The Easterners said: 'You cannot win the war on the Western Front. Look elsewhere'. The Westerners replied 'You cannot win it anywhere else'. In 1915 both were correct".
