I found one of your reddit posts and came here to get a refresher on mandu! I haven't made them in a while and your video was very helpful in reminding me of the steps and technique. Thank you so much <3
Hi, what size is the ddukbaegi?
the one I’m looking to buy is 680ml / 140mmx75mm(5.5inchx3inch), will this be fine for one serving bibimbap?
What kind of rice are you using? Jasmin rice? Can I use regular white rice?
This is such an interesting way to make this dish. I'm so used to the Chinese version Congee, so i'm very interested in trying this method oout, since it doesnt seem like the rice needs to be prepped beforehand, like with chinese congee.
Cabbage kimchi is a tedious preparation but the result is just… wow! 💕
It looks so good and similar to mine. Mine consists of yellow squash, celery, and carrots. The addition of the whisked egg was interesting. I may try that. Bon appetit 😊
What kind of rice is it please it looks not long ?
Going to give this a try today since I’m not feeling good. Thank you for the video and simple recipe!
I have been looking at a lot of juk recipes and everyone else’s seems to have a 6:1 ratio of liquid to rice. Is this correct that your recipe is only 1:1 ratio??
👍👏
Can sushi rice be used ?
Sure, hope you like the recipe!
Which rice cal l use instead of sweet rice? We don’t have that here in my country
I tried with short grain white rice, jasmin rice or sushi rice. Haven’t try with long grain rice yet. You can give a try, it can be a new recipe!
is shiitake mushrooms optional?
Yes, it’s’ optional. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
I was groovin to the tunes 🎹🎵👍
Hi Mama Han! These recipes are exactly what I've been looking for. These wings look delicious and I am so excited to cook some of your recipes! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
I'm glad that you found me! 😄 Hope you enjoy the recipe!
In Indian we call khichdi/kanji but we don't add chicken/egg(others will but not me)
i've learned to smash the rice in mortar/pestle type to break up the rice after washing, makes the porridge tastes better. doesn't have to be complicated- just adding minced carrots, tuna or even abalone, crushed seaweed & of course sesame oil/seeds and a bit of soy sauce makes it great. also eating it w/ cubed radish kimchi is so good
In Bangladesh we call it Jaow rice ( জাউ ভাত)
I would eat it everyday
WOOW! I ACTUALLY WANNED TO TRY IT AND HERE I GO 😁😁😁😁
Very nice
That looks so good! Udon is my favorite
Mine too! 😄
Love from India 🇮🇳
Hi there, can I use Indian rice instead of Korean sweet rice as they are not available at my place, please reply, Thank you.
I didn’t try the Indian rice yet but pretty sure that you can. It would just have the different texture. Let me know how it went after you try!
Made this for me and my mom 😋 i used chicken broth instead of water and it was very yummy! Thank you for this recipe 🙂
I’m so glad you like the recipe and thank you for letting me know! 🥰

Can I eat it for my diet?
This is low calorie food, so it should be good for diet, I think
It's a pretty healthy diet. You can always adjust it by vegetables and it can be filling.
Thanks Mama Han for the wonderful recipes! Will you be taking a break from KZread?
Oh, no! I will be working on the new video soon! Sorry for the long wait! 🤗
Almost thought you are, 😅! Thanks for the update, looking forward to your next video!

Best and easy recipe 💜✨
How long do you have to boil it?
It will take about 20 minutes on medium low heat. Don’t forget to stir occasionally!
so delicious
We call it khichadi here in India 😄 we don't use egg and sesame oil other than that it's same. 💛💚💙💜
everything was well untill i saw raw egg at the end. Btw we use lentils in khichidi.
Is it nice to overcome alcoholic hangovers?
It would be easy for your stomach to digest. I would recommend warm honey teas (1 cup warm water + 2 tbsp honey), which help to burn alcohol fast. Have eggs, banana, and a good rest! 🙂
@@MamaHan didn't expected such great and quick advice...thanku so much really respect you...and yes I will subscribe and like..😊😊

Hello! It looks really good and appetizing, can I do this recipe without egg? What’s the purpose of adding egg to it?
Sure, you can make it without eggs. The egg makes the soup thick and gives rich texture. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
