Some of the all-time greats didn't win a championship. Maybe came close, just snakebit it seemed. The 2006 chargers were the best team that year, lost 2 games by a FG each at KC & Baltimore. If the DB with INT in the 4th kneels down, they win. If the 2 pt conversion hadn't been brought to the NFL, they win. Nate Kaeding was for a while the most efficient kicker in NFL history. He missed FGs in that game, just like 2004 playoffs & 2009 playoffs, their other teams with best tecords. LT was having a great day, borh rushing & receiving and they didn't use him enough in the 2nd half. And like LT said, Philip was a first year starter. He made comments about if Drew had been QB. I see it another way, if Philip had started since 2004, they win in 2006, but I saw his point, and did at the time. He wasn't as effective as a passer that first year as in later years (then again, who were the starting WR😂....Eric Parker & K McCardell). He had a great career. They had the Colts number through those years, if they got past the pats in 2006 & jets 2009, which they should have, they would have beat the colts. And the Bears in 2006

So what I’m getting is Mike was taken in by the family after they already knew he had athletic prowess. He said it himself in the interview that he was already an all American when the Tuohys brought him into their home. The movie is bomb but once you hear his side of the story your eyes don’t get wet watching the movie.
