Wilks sucks at stopping the run. I don't know what he has done to the d-line, but they are not good at pass rushing and not good at stopping the run right now. That is why people don't like Wilks.

Agree! We fans know that the defense is a shell of last season! I get that we lost some players but with so much talent, this defense should be able to put pressure on the QB's with only their front 4! Wilks needs to have more blitzing or something because QB's are having all day to throw! 😡

That was a call by an inexperienced booth replay official that wanted to quiet former SH/ 49ERS CB # 25 RS mouth and give him a second SB lost with the 49ERS.

@@CGALLAH I have it but , 2 straight weeks in a row gettiing gashed like that has to worrry any faithful. The preveous DC's were way better run stop teams especially the SB Def under Salah. Now not only do the have heavy def lapse in the run defense but , their also giving up huge plays in the pass def. By allowing tremodous space between them and the oppossing offensive player. Couple that with giving up 3rd and long conversion repeatedly on downs were you to make stops. Just saying you should some what concern. But never lacking on the faith of the 9ers . I think they have a really good chance to win the SB . But they must be at the their best all around from coaching the monents to players making the critical play when needed.
