Toney literally cost the Chiefs two wins with the pick 6 interception against the Lions and lining up offsides against the Bills. Then he caused the pick against the Patriots. The Chiefs found their identity very late in the season as a low-risk ball-control offense that leans on their defense to win games. It would be galactically stupid to bring Toney back unless it's a "break glass in case of emergency" moment in the 4th quarter of the SB where they're down by 14 and they just need to try something different on offense or special teams to get things going again.

Sure but not if the player hasnt displayed it or put up any numbers close to what a #1 WR puts up. It just becomes a distraction and creates division but who knows it could be a strategic move on the Chiefs part to get the best possible game from Toney when they need it. I know if I thought this would be my last NFL game or it would affect my financial situation negatively, contractually speaking, i'd try to play the game of my life regardless.

Exactly. They have Super Bowl experience with this being their 4th in 5 years. They have the better QB (the best in the league). They just went on the road and beat the Bills and Ravens in their stadiums. Meanwhile, San Fran struggled and almost lost to the Packers, and arguably should’ve lost to the Lions on their home turf. This is also the best defense Mahomes has had in his career, going up against a young QB in Brock Purdy. The Chiefs are the hotter team and easily should be the favorites to win this game. Calling them “underdogs” will only give them more fuel smh.

Emmit Smith is a great running back who ran behind possibly the greatest offensive line ever in football. Barry Sanders may be the greatest running back ever and he played behind possibly the worst offensive line ever in football. I am 70 years old and been to games where I saw Gale Sayers, Erik Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton Emmitt and Barry. I never saw Jim Brown so I cannot say. But of all the running backs I saw Sanders and Payton were the two I would pay money to go see. The two I would want my kids to see. Because you may not see two like that again. The same way I would pay money to see Jordan or Kobe over anyone else. You may see something never before seen on a playing field.
