With Miami having to play the cowboys and ravens, while the Bills have to play Chargers and Pats, i fully expect week 18 to be for the divison

The Bills seem like they're slowly getting back on track and they're capable of beating any team to the point where the sports talking heads call that defeated team "frauds" rather than praising the Bills for totally outplaying the opposition. The players on the team itself can go all the way, especially their Quarterback, but their weakness (and strength) is McDermott. He is a modern-day Marty Schottenheimer who will help get the Bills more wins than losses but may just have a lapse in judgement that costs the team an important win!

Buffalo is back. Firing Dorsey has turned this team completely around. At the same time, a lot of us are still completely unsure about McD. He has shown to be terrible at late-game decisions, and we fear he may cost us another close game (all six of their losses were by a single score). So...little of column a, little of column b.

Football is weird, unpredictable, stupid, and amazing all at the same time!

Buffalo could be an 11 win team right now with the ways that they found to lose those close games this year. It comes down to coaching. Dorsey wasn't a good play caller and that was obvious since last year. I do think they were experimenting with play calling a bit. They know they can win when Josh is throwing all day, we've seen the high powered offense. I think some of the confusion on who they are was in a way part of their game plan this year. The big thing for me is that McDermott does not shine when the game is on the line. Think about this. What game has defined the Bills? 13 seconds, right? What happened in that game at the end? The coaching called a soft defense, gave Hill a 20 yard cushion with 2 blockers. Prevent defense lost that game and cost them a superbowl that year. No doubt in my mind. What happened vs. the Bengals? 10 yard cushion, no pass rush, completion underneath every single drive....no adjustments the entire game. Played scared. Then the Philly game this year. Yes, they would have won if Bass makes 1 of his 2 missed field goals. Yes, the officiating was not in their favor, but what happened at the end of the game? Allen gets the lead late again, the bills call a soft defense and Philly ties it. What does McDermott do? He tries to ice the kicker on a 59 yard field goal in the elements and burns a time out. Takes a Knee with Josh Allen, 20 seconds and a timeout. Josh had 420 yards of production and 4TD that game? Do you remember last year when they played Detroit? 1 pass at the end of the game from Allen, the team is in field goal range, wins the game. Oh...don't forget 12 men on the field for a field goal cost them the Denver game. Yes, they have injuries, but have shown that the defense can still play. A credit to McDermott in that regard, but what's going to happen with the game on the line. The Bills get a comfortable lead and they roll.

It wasn't only bandwagon fans; it was also people who supported this team for most of its existence! While McDermott can get this team playing well, he has also been known to make weak or poor decisions at the most crucial times.

The problem u have who u going to get if u fire mcderrmott he ended the drought it was a knee jerk reaction to some bad games chiefs are not that great this season and lost at games they shouldn't have but they ain't firing Andy Reid Ravens didn't fire harbough when the ravens had some crap seasons I agree it was band wagon jumpers or fans that didn't really under stand how football works casuals go bills

The thing is, Josh's presence allowed to Take Parsons out of all but 6 of the 39 rushing plays by the Bills. Very smart game planning. They would leave Parsons unblocked and he would have to hold up just long enough because his man is Josh on the RPO. And then they'd have Dawkins, who's left Parsons unblocked to run out and nail a 205 lb LBer who's supposed to be a safety lol

I wasn't on the get rid of Sean bandwagon. There is hope. There is confidence. Im taking it one game at a time and just enjoying the journey.

The Bills have reconfigured their offensive game plan.. that's evident for every one... We have always wanted Josh Allen to be complimented by a solid running game.. The Bills went from completely depending on Allen to almost supplanting him.. Please don't forget the Bills defense... They played their hearts out .. for McDermott.. whom most Bills fans wouldn't feel sorry for if he left.. we are thankful for what he has done to restore the franchise to a position of respectability but i think his ceiling will not go beyond reaching the AFC championship game However the Bills Defense bailed him out in the last 2 weeks, maybe out of respect for him. The Buffalo Bills are an emotional rollercoaster and supporting them, will as Mellencamp sang, leave you hurt .. so good..

Don't want to hear it about the Ravens. The Browns are right behind them, and they lost Chubb a long time ago, are on their 4th QB, have a TON of starters on IR and just keep finding ways to win games. Let's see what happens. The Browns already beat those dirty birds once this year in Baltimore.

I think Zac Wilson would be just fine with an Offensive Coach !! So would Justin Herbert etc etc bcus defensive coaches threwout the league have already proven that they suck on the other side of the line !!!

Bills haven't played their best ball. But they can beat anyone. My hope is the adversity they faced so far galvanizes them and carries them through the playoffs, if they get in.

I still am looking for mcdermott's head on a stick. He tried his best to blow that KC game.but got bailed out by Toney. He kneeled the ball with 3 timeouts this week. He has learned nothing. I am done having the coach hold this team back and losing games every year due to his game management

In my life, Bills are great, great, lay an egg, lay and egg, great. They need an offensive minded coach, not a fan of McDermott. But who are they? They are a 10-7 team capable of beating the best, or having their asses whipped by the worst.

Anyone who thinks Buffalo is firing McDermott, has the IQ of a bag of potato chips. McDermott has full faith and confidence from ownership, management and the locker room. McDermott and his defense have done their part. The Bills are 8-0 this season when the defense holds opponents to 20 or less. These same Bills are 0-6 when opponents score more than 20. Josh Allen and the offense needs to carry their weight.

They got rid of their offensive coordinator that's the difference Jimmy boy

Don't get it wrong, we're still worried about McDermott's random bone-headed game losing calls. Hopefully he learned a lesson along the way. The guy knows how to run a defense as good as anyone else for 99% of the time, but that 1% of the time his brain turns to mush during the most pivotal moment.
