    Wow, i am very impressed. As i am doing very fast cars that are just ment to be performing, i need to say that this is a fantastic built for driving. Didnt see much builts like this till yet. Would be interesting to see if your wheels ( nice built by the way ) would work with my slower drivetrain concept. About 200 Watt. Anyway, very cool built. Very solid, and the driving performance is great. Good to see you back!!!!!!!!!

  • @Attika
    @Attika4 ай бұрын

    Thank you. Interesting proposal. So from the top of my head, the current setup is roughly 4motors by 3 amps by 11(ish) volts ads up to 120(ish) watt. Considering that the max output on the buwizz units had to be lowered to 92 percent to keep them from shuting down, I'd say it is around 100watts. So your 200w system would give it twice the load. As I see, if the weight can be kept on this level (2.7kg now) and the acceleration is kept on a gentle level, then might be ok. I guess the next weak point above this performance will be the planetary wheelhub and wheel connection and probably the wheelhub itself. I've seen some falling apart on buwizz competitions under heavier builds, so there is certainly a limit in beating what those can take. Up to this point let say after 2 hours of total runtime I didn't brake any though. Meaning there is still room for performance. ;-) There is a topic on eurobricks, you'll find the (almost)complete studio file, feel free to stretch your wings

    @@Attikabeen there too. Experimenting with Buwizz and buggy motors and all that. I think its absurd to work with these components while we can add brushless motors. With full Lego except the motor and esc, i ran a streetcar with around 35 km/h with 200 Watt. Went ok. But you right, at some point the hubs are the problem or something else. Thats why i designed my own hubs. My journey was driving, finding the next weakspot, driving, next weakspot. Well, now i go 50 km/h with about 450 Watt. My heaviest car is about 1,7 Kg at a scale of 1:10. I know sounds heavy but would really be more in 1:8 scale with my type of frame. Plus my batterie weighs almost 200 gramm. In the end weight is a problem if you go for traction. Well, been thinking about joining Eurobricks several times. I think i will give it a try since Facebook groups are a little bit dead these days. You got a link for some of your content there?

    @@Attika well, categories haven't changed much, but there are some new ones! 1:10 scale SUVs, 42160 audi mod and mini stadium trucks was changed to mini racers. Otherwise, I'm sure you'll bring some awesome performing models with your usual organic frame bodywork style! i bought this set earlier this week (it will arrive on the next monday) because it was one of my dream set at the time, like the 8865 (for which i'm the best bidder), or the 5571(i'll buy parts and i found the instructions for free because i can't spend 1500€ in a set from the 90's), i still own the 5580 (but i think i'll buy another one and build the A and the C model and add 2 MOC trailers it'll be wonderful in display)
