Knots & Dreams

Knots & Dreams

Does anyone read this stuff?? 👉

I've been knotting since the beginning of 2021 - we were in another covid 'lockdown', I was homeschooling my two young boys which was challenging (but fun too!) but I was struggling mentally too. Was it lockdown? Hormones? Anxiety? All these feeling made me want to do something for myself and that's when I discovered Macrame. During this time I learned these feeling were actually undiagnosed ADHD, which is my new SUPER POWER!!
Nothing but great things have come from my diagnosis - I understand myself more than ever and I am FINALLY exploring my creative side.
I've experimented with many knots, patterns over the last few years and I'm really happy to have this platform to share them all with you too.

I hope you enjoy recreating my makes 🥰

Everybody acting like fiberglass just washes off with water. If it was that easy why would she even be trying this? Do you all really think she didn't try the obvious solution first? Anyway, I've been told by people that frequently work with fiberglass that is best to just not let it touch you in the first place. Whatever amount of clothes it takes to fully cover yourself, you'll be more comfortable with that than fiberglass. If you already fucked it, don't scrub. That pushes it further into the skin. Wipe in the same direction over and over. Most of it will slowly get pulled out. Throw away what you used to wash yourself, the fiberglass in it will be there forever. There will be some discomfort for a few days but it's just mild itching

  • @knotsanddreams

I would use 3.5/4m for each cord. The number of cords can vary so just keep adding them so you have at least the top half of the hoop covered. Hope that helps!
