This is a vlog type channel that we created to capture our journey through the real estate world. We don't know what we are doing and are just playing it all by ear and trying to educate ourselves along the way. We are looking to flip some properties as well as buy and hold to rent out. We just entered the world of real estate and we are sharing some of that world right here, with you!! Take your time, look around, and let us know what you think!

I hate how quickly that thin flashing and top caps twist and wrinkle
Right on
What does the other side look like??
We were not hired to do the outside job but when we were done it was plywood on the outside. Tks for the question!
Some Teco clips would work wonders. 4 x 4 isn't really suitable for the beam either.
That bend is a sewer trap. Makes sure that sewer gases are blocked. Bend creates a cavity for water to sit and block gases from coming up.
Too cheap of a DIYer.
Tks for the comment but if you would explain what you are talking about that would be helpful!
@@RentThisFlipThat Just meant the person before did not want to do it correctly.
I see! Tks for the comment!
The problem with all these videos is if they show you how to remove a perfectly good post how often are you removing perfectly good posts it's the one to wrote it off at ground level that are the challenge
Grest job!! And you are so funny with the way you handle mishaps!!
Thanks, I currently doing that same thing. Thanks for sharing.
No problem! Good luck with your project. Thanks for the comment
that’s wifey right there! And she has Stunna shade on
You talk way to fast.
I loved the education but had trouble hearing over the background music
Wouldn’t be better to sink the posts in the ground for the hot tub?
E-girls will be the downfall of society
Nice
I'm surprised you didn't say what brand your palm nailer is.
Now I need to see how to install tub and tile
Great video.
Tks
I am in the same situation for the back door, in Hermitage, but we don't use that door so I am just avoiding it.
I am in Mount juliet. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm close snuff to stop by if needed. Thanks for the comment
Your videos are so real. Home ownership can be a beautiful facade under shitty rotten repairs. Thank you for a realistic view of how to replace and repair with realistic views and outcomes.
Got it done in a day! A couple of suggestions, fill that 1 1/2” opening in the left end of the joist to rim joist space…perfect ledge for vermin to sit & chew up into the wall. Second, you used chipboard, not plywood to patch the subfloor. Cut edges will wick water & swell like crazy. Ask me how I know both of these points? LOL!! The SECOND time I learned a little more….good video!!
you are very well spoken sir! Thank you
it would have been nice to see some more of the technical aspects, especially where its obvious that you are explaining something but decided (thru the edit) to let the music do the talking which disappoints me to no end. also, the beveling of the plywood, which end did you do and I (have to) assume the bevel faced down, but that's conjecture. which orientation was the bevel? was the plywood a bevel'd width longer or did it marry up to the edges perfectly? also, would it not have been prudent to not mount it to the floor before fully assembling the works? I dunno, it was a quick, slick, decently produced video, the camera under the cart thing was cool, the face looking down at it at the end was a bit... oopsie(?) anyways, its a great effort, but maybe less on the slick and more on the trick, if that makes sense....?
What did you use in the corners?
P-trap are required to trap/prevent gases from entering houses or apartments.
Amazing a real useful woman. Don't know if she is putting on show for camera or her own idea. But break them nails off tie up that hair and go at it. Great effort, qualities missing in females I know. dont have to be big but it would have been easier if you made jack handle longer. "Archimedes-Law of the Lever". The longer the lever easier the job.
I guess I missed you removing the paper from the double-sided tape on the first panel you installed??
Dam that the smallest footing I've seen.... lucky mine are 36inch 12 inch tube and post broke at the base,
Agreed but realistically that all you need if you have 20 inches of soil above it and you post is rated for ground contact.
Attach a longer pipe around the lever. Makes it soo much easier even a cavewoman can do it.
Excellent
Great job you guys
Thanks
Try your best, caulk the rest!!!!
Nice tip. Thanks
As a bespoke joiner the finish on this is upsetting me 😢
not the...other wood...
Nice, subbed
What shower base did y’all use?
You two do good work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. She is my best helper. Thanks for the comment
Did you have to take permits to close off exterior door?
Good morning. Great content! Dez
Wow, thanks, Dez. Really appreciate the tip, too. The gesture means more than the money. So, thanks for starting out my day on a good note. Hope you have the best day ever. And thanks for the comment as well
One good turn deserves another and I never forget those who have been a blessing to me.
Thanks!
Thanks!
The shower panels are supposed to be installed over hardy backer not over drywall
No they aren't. Read The instructions
Maybe you should read the instruction’s before posting an ignorant comment.
Just the video I was looking for…thanks
Did i miss thw part where you put up green board not regular drywall???
I think so.It starts at 7:48 In the video if it looks like it is gray it is not it is actually greenboard. Thanks for the question
I wish I could add a video so you could see what’s happening with mine but the top two pieces are touching and I’ve never been able to close the gate properly and I’m almost thinking maybe the gate is too close together but I have no idea. I am going to try this and see if it helps
You can send any videos to [email protected]. thanks for the comment
Why did it take so long to find this simple instruction?
I'm dealing with this same issue, except bathroom and laundry room. I'm grateful for your video bro! It gives me hope!
I appreciate that. Wish we could've got a little more detail. Bit we got er done. Thanks for the comment. Good luck on your project
@RentThisFlipThat my gf and I inherited an old house ( 1902 cabin) in west ky, and it's been a huge eye opener. Not only am I not a carpenter, I'm not much of a plumber or electrician either; all three of these trades have become my new extra curricular activities. ...Learning the principles and lingo have been the easy part. What hasn't been so easy is the frozen/ busted water line(s), collapsing floor joists, extremely poorly drained soil on the negative n/west side of our house, etc. Etc. Etc. All of these new emerging demands came calling on me almost immediately after moving in ( Dec ). It can get heavy while maintaining a healthy relationship with the misses, and all the while continuing to pursue outside business as usual. ...It has paid off in spades, to remember to use one day each week to step away and enjoy the outdoors etc. ( Ive also benefitted from keeping at least 3 major ( imperative yet non time restraining) projects going on at all times to allow focus to step from one to another to protect myself from "burn-out"... ...Thank God for the good content creators who have supplemented my new found interests. It's been one hell of a year, and it's just starting to become fun! ...I'll send pics if you care to see the progression we are "messing" with in the old ky home, of ours.
Man, this is so good to hear.Glad you are learning all the trades and being able to take care of things by yourself is very rewarding. I agree with you on getting burn up.That's a good idea to work on different projects . absolutely.Feel free to send some pics.Would love to [email protected]. And thanks for sharing
Does the allen and roth has niches for soap and shampoo bottles or not?
No, but we bought some separate to install
@@RentThisFlipThat send the link and show me the last results.
Coming off what plum line?lol. There is just a line already there. Where is this plum libe coming from? The top? Bottom? The other line? 7 1/4 from across the street?lol
It's coming from my level.. If you can understandi'm not gonna be able to explain it, you would have to have some construction experience.
Please learn to use standard hand tools
We did that's why we made a video. Please learn how to not be a dick
