  Hello! Apologies for not being able to answer this completely however I believe they are regular and not low or sugar free. I only drink Coca-Cola and it was not the diet or zero sugar variety! I hope that helps!

  Hello! Based on my recollection it does have a stocked mini fridge but we don't consume any of those items as we generally don't drink alcohol and otherwise drink plenty of water when vacationing.

Lo que te quería preguntar es cual es la diferencia con "THE RESERVE", Nosotros somos una pareja y vamos a pasar nuestra luna de miel.   Hello! I can't find any information regarding a remodel since May although they were doing some construction at the beginning of the jetty when we were there. The rooms seemed well appointed and in great condition so I would venture to say this was after the remodel.

  Hi there! It's not necessary adults only but RIU Palace Bavaro had a pretty lively night life and pool party area. That's the best resort we've been to in Punta Cana personally speaking. I'm not into partying myself but I do remember that one being lively.

  It had some good and some less than good but for the money we paid, it was fine. Pool area was great, rooms were not bad, but noise levels from workers and such were unacceptable. I still need to write my full review on my site, but be on the lookout for it.

  Food is a 7 out of 10 but everyone is different so others may not agree with me. As far as activities, we don't usually do much on vacation so I can't comment on that but there is definitely stuff to do there.

  It's definitely a bit of a hike if you walk but they have buggy service regularly, so you only have to wait 5-10 minutes when you want to go or come back. But it's definitely a downside to this resort for sure.

  What did you fly on? My itinerary shows that it was a 777-300ER. But it looked to be one of their older 777s based on the interior.

  It was initially $2K USD round trip (MIA to MLE via DXB) for us both in economy and then the one way upgrade from Miami to Dubai was an additional $2.5k USD.

  Awesome! You will love it! We loved it so much that we moved here in March 2021. As long as you don't spend all day in the sun and take regular breaks in an AC environment it shouldn't be too bad! Evenings are absolutely perfect because of how warm they are! Have a great trip!

  Hi Misty, you can walk but it's probably a 20- minute walk depending on how fast you walk. It's far easier to take the cart. The cart is frequent so you typically don't have to wait more than 10 min.

  When I was there at around 1130 at night we where on the beach and huge sea turtles started to surface and crawl towards us my wife and her friend almost passed out .. they were guided by the moonlight to lay eggs there

  @@DatDudeTrav Hey there! I tried numerous entry points into the water and encountered giant boulders/rocks at each one. I hurt my foot pretty badly on one of them. The color of the water is amazing, but the strength of the waves (at least when we were there) and the tough time getting in easily makes this the worst beach I have ever been on. Ever.   Hi Shannon! Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure but my understanding is it is just general erosion. Based on what I've read, this happened in the late 2000's as well after Hurricane Wilma and the Mexican government actually dredged the ocean floor to get some of it back. Overall, this was one of the biggest downers about this resort. The water was at that level, and with strong waves, every single time we looked. The big boulders or sheets of rock a few feet into the water also didn't help matters. I only went into the ocean one time as a result and otherwise spent time at the pool. There is a possibility that there are 'gaps' from which you can enter the ocean, but I wasn't able to find them or didn't want to risk injury trying to find them. From talking to friends who've been to Mexico, my understanding is Playa del Carmen and Playa Mujeres have better beaches where it's more of what you'd expect with a gradually sloping beach, no large boulders/rocks, etc.
