UPDATE (8/28/2021): At the time of our visit in October 2020, the resort went by the name “The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real”. On or around June 15th, 2021 the resort was rebranded and now goes by the name “Paradisus Grand Cana”.
UPDATE (6/18/2023): After previously being renamed from "The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real" to "Paradisus Grand Cana", in September 2022 the resort was rebranded once again and now goes by the name "Falcon's Resorts by Meliá - Punta Cana".
UPDATE (3/3/2024): After previously being renamed from “Paradisus Grand Cana“ to “Falcon's Resorts by Meliá - Punta Cana” in September 2022, the resort was rebranded on 1/15/2024 and is once again going by the name “Paradisus Grand Cana”.

Hi there Alexis! You can, but it's far easier and more convenient to take the cart. The carts operate like every 10 minutes. The beach is not far but not close either 😊.
Hi. How much is the commute from the resort to the beach? Is this cart/shuttle service provided by the resort? Any fees for that?

Hi there! The cart/shuttle is completely free but believe it only runs during certain hours however during the hours of operation it was usually only a 5 or 10 minute wait each time. No cost! Just wait in the designated area and you're good to go! Thank you for watching!
