  After my recent situantionship, it made me realize that I am better off alone than giving someone attention who doesn't care at all!! I could feel that something was off and he was likely seeing other women or another woman.

  The journey of self esteem has been a consistent struggle for me. I'm someone who even went so far as to lose 90 pounds and change physically have found that I'm still having issues of poor confidence and it's very frustrating.

  I love you Asha and have been a sub for a while but this particular message had a few sweeping statements that were a bit off to me. “No woman on this earth wants to work” “yes you can have your little side business but you can’t run a home or a family the way you want to if you’re worried about paying your half of the bills”. I totally get the trad wife perspective but we have to be careful that we’re not regressing. I think more nuance needs to be applied here. I also think that the resurgence of the trad wife mode of feminity is happening in a time of financial and economic crisis and uncertainty whereas the feminist revolution from the 50s house wife to free love in the 60s was driven by a time of prosperity, peace and optimism. In other words, trad wife will not seem so appealing to bright young women when the times change and the world feels safe again.
