I’m happy you clarified you want someone from a healthy two parent home. I had to explain to someone even though I grew up in a single mother home, it’s my preference to date someone from a healthy home. I learned I had to tweak it when I dated a “military brat” whose father was stereotypical and fully controlling and full of wrath. I realized a HEALTHY two parent household was something I liked in dating.

That’s completely judgmental to assume that anyone from a a single parent home is damaged and can’t be well adjusted or acceptable. Not everyone is defined and lives by their past.

Healthy is the key and people will still choose to be offended and let the message go over their heads.

People throw the word judgmental around too much, not understanding what it means. I'll say this much. Finding someone from a healthy 2 parent home is rare. Like a needle in a haystack.

Teal swan is not a psychologist. Just wanted to say that because you can take most of her advise with a grain of salt as she gets her information from researching on her own from podcasts etc. We all are capable of doing that ourselves. I do like this video very much though. ❤

What’s your favorite color? And what’s your favorite animal? … U should be able to ask direct questions and be upfront with out hesitation install that into yourself. Be direct no bs. If a man can’t handle it then oh well , Next. Your favorite color or animal has nothing to do with anything. My favorite color is black and so is my partners and we are completely different individuals also I don’t have a favorite animal. But I’m passionate, artistic, talented, thriving, optimistic. I’m a vary deep person. And he is completely opposite from me.

Love you Asha, but we can be more upfront with questions not these coded ones about animals and favorite colors… Never had this issue with dating- love your content and would love to see more about best ways to continue organically meeting people out and building relationships with intention or content around finding new hobbies

Asha I love the content and kudos to you for helping women ask deeper questions when dating and vetting a potential partner. I would advise you to get to know people from healthy single family homes, it’s a stereotype, much like the black single mother, that children from single parent homes don’t value marriage or have unhealthy views. While some do I don’t think children from single parent homes should be painted with such a broad stroke. Anyone from a loving home that was poured into, seen and taught boundaries can navigate healthy relationships. Marriage is a relationship and a reflection of other relationships. If you are a healthy single, daughter, colleague and friend, you will be a healthy partner……also no clue who Teal Swan is but those questions are basic. Most people have had favorite colors since they were a toddler and the average person can barely name all the bodies of water much less choose a favorite one and if they do have a favorite it’s probably due to a family or childhood experience such as camping by a lake, trekking a waterfall or something like that. I do value your content and thank you for sharing. The other questions were very helpful and I look forward to a more in depth video with more questions like that. ❤❤

asha thanks for your perspective once again, there's one thing i want to mention about being raised in an unstable household, I wanted to say that it hurts, and it hurts a lot, it's not same but is extremely ttoxic for anyone who goes through or went through this in their life, as much as I try it still stays a real difficult and challenging part of my life to even see a healthy marriage healthy future for myself,i have hope and i do not lose hope, but now that I'm broken and can't afford therapy, I'm trying and educating myself through internet yet i feel a fear and in general men these days most of them don't act right and don't feel good already so I gave up on the idea of marriage unless the guy is really really worth that pain. idk asha I'm struggling very much as im already near my mid 20s. I'm struggling. but trying to be okay and move forward. Insha'Allah I'll just focus on doing the next right thing as you say. thank you ❤

As a man, I was prepared to be annoyed with this video -- I guess I've seen too much wild "dating advice" lately -- but these were actually good questions and good reasoning. Well done. I don't know about the colors and the lakes and stuff from the opener, but I suppose that I'll have to see that video as well. I am surprised to hear you be so dismissive of men having a harder time of it these days. Let's be honest, if you're dating for marriage, it's tougher for both sides than it used to be. I think that my favorite question was about which historical person a man would want to talk to over dinner. The answer really will tell you a lot about what the man values, admires, and wants to be like. I would LOVE to get questions like this on a date. So much meaningful stuff to talk about.

Part two me plz! I had met a guy at the gas station. I was exiting, he was entering, he held the door for me and about faced to pay me a compliment & ask for my digits.. now, before I gave them up, I asked his name. Age. Does he have kids? Does he have a job? How's his relationship w. Mom, & where's dad? He was quick to answer & patient w. My drillings so I gave him the # he then revealed to me that his phone was currently off. 😂needless to say I haven't heard from him yet. This was 1/7 .....

Asha lol Kevin Samuels. Most of what he was saying wasnt actually controversial. Most of the women watching and calling in were just delusional and in denial. Once he grew bigger he gave the ppl the entertainment they were seeking lol.
