I love living in this area. I've been coming here for more than 20 years and now live nearby for the last two years, and I absolutely love it here.
This guy is a scammer
These type of people will ruin mexico.. not even learning Spanish. Gross
This guy is a con man…advoid him…stole 20 million through Caban Condos Mexico
Ben pitre never bought the house he is talking about.
Did we meet you at the Meetup? 😂
I am a single senior lady of 69, looking at retiring there, how much to rent a room of monthly hotel please?
is there a large expat community and do you need to know spanish well to get along ok?
The expat community is quite small, so you definitely need some Spanish. There are pockets of expats in nearby Coatepec and Xico.
Is it possible to live in PV using a EV scooter. I can walk short distances but long distances for shopping, strolling on the Malecon, going to cafe's restaurants, can a small EV scooter do the job? I need to be near the beach (EV scooter distance). Perhaps there are areas where this could work. I looking short term rental for 3 months. I'm 80 years old (young-old as they say). Thanks.
brilluant, I'm thinking of expatting from Canada, i qualify for permanent res, but I dont want to pay that 30% Mexican withholding tax on foreign dividend income - currently I pay 12%. So if someone can clarify that for me, lots of expats living in PV and dont file with Mexico, just their counrtry of origin. This is what i want to do
I was there , an loveed it. , ❤Loved 11 Patiozes with All artisain 5:25 5:27 5:29 . . But I don't think locals like Ustado Unidos. . people.
Great advice. And here we are...serendipitously landed here in our little RV and already thinking we may have found a forever home... It reminds us of Oregon but also San Diego but in better times. And yes, I've noticed that not as much English is spoken here as in many other places we've been. I"m comfortable with that and we are learning... Check out her hotel and apartments online...they look AMAZING.
So your boyfriend used to bang you in Melaque in your youth so you bring your husband to the same place you were squashed daily. No wonder it is now an ex husband
Very informative. Thank you
I LOVE La Paz - IN THE WINTER! There's absolutely no way I could live there over a summer. The malecon is the best in Baja.
Patzcuaro is my most favorite place in all of Mexico. 3 times we stayed for a month during Easter and it was just wonderful. Our last visit was the month of April 2020 at the height of Covid and although it was very sad that we couldn't mingle, go to the marcado, or our favorite restaurants....it was probably the best place to be with this kind and caring people. We lived at the top of hill above Dr Coz and our Colonia was very tight knit and wonderful to be in. The Bodega, the vegetables ladies, everyone took extreme common sense care for the community health. Our rental was at the top of a ridge top with constant stunningly beautiful views and lighting
Robert, can I have your email, want to talk about an awesome project?
I liked her attitude: so respectful of Mexican Culture...bienvenida.
I spent some time in Ensenada last year, to try to determine if I wanted to get a place there. Rents were higher than expected, and the security issue was a deal killer for us. Trucks full of army and police, in full riot gear, parading up and down the main drag all day long. And the police were quite hostile. Spoke to one, and he said the homicides are way up, and you always have to be careful and watchful. Not for us.
Some expats are sooo funny when they say "I don't like too many tourist around...hahah
Wishing you the Best down Mexico soon a train will bring a lots happy Travelers. Including myself I never been in Mexico Only in border towns IAM semi retired it's Time to pay a visit May god bless nothing of you

As soon as he said "bankers", I'm out of there.
How do you teach English to foreigners w/o knowing their language?
0:08 where is that?
US immigrants in Mexico*
How are the mosquitoes there? I noticed an airbnb has nets over the beds, is there cause for concern for those of us who attract mosquitoes more than others?
Greetings from Yucatan
I had a 18 ft bowrider Sea Ray blue with a 4.6 liter engine in it my father bought new in 1986 and had it till 2006
Los deverian de deportar de Ensenada asi como oos gringos deportan a los mexicanos
Ivan forgot to mention the many indigenous people of that area and of the Baja as a whole. They were in Mexico long before the Russians and Spaniards.👍
I was talking about expats, not locals 😉Cheers!
@@ivansanchispedregosa114 sorry I misunderstood. 👍😌
Too many in SMA...so loud, not nice.
Thank you Lindsay for the information you so so nicely shared with us. I am visiting for 1 month from the 26th Nov to 26th Dec 2022. Do you think there is enough time to get an appointment with a dentist and an eye doctor and would you be able to refer me to a dentist and eye doctor. Thank you again Lindsay.
Oaxaca is on our list to visit. I like how you visited incramentally for the first 3 years before you made your choice. Smart girl. I <3 Mexico!
I am coming to PV 10-4 to12th. Doing my research. Looking to retire there or Bucerias.
Greetings from Yucatan
Such a helpful, interesting, and valuable interview - thank you both! Is love to hear more from this channel about finding safe places outside our on the outskirts of SMA proper and also the mature, well educated, and creative perspective is very appreciated!
Muchas gracias, we will work on your request. Check out our Ben Pitre interview, also. Both John and Ben live on the outskirts of SMA.

I also live in Manhattan and I have never owned a car, and I don't know if I remember how to drive,.
The video would have really come to life, if we could have seen his property.
Very cool. You make a lot of people envious.
So real! I loved this interview, she summarized it well: “COME FOR THE ADVENTURE!”
Sarah is a great writer!
American people wanting a Mexican lifestyle for their kids to learn don't have to move to Mexico.....with all the illegals coming to America, just sit tight and your neighborhood will become a Mexican neighborhood very soon.
patzcuaro is a vibe!
Really cool!
Those worried about drugs, it’s just like the US, meth is a huge problem so petty thieves are always on the lookout for your belongings. In La Paz, it’s pretty easy to tell the goos áreas from the not so good, just keep your head in the game and you’ll be safe. If you can’t, stay home.
