Beautiful person. Full of life
Fine video. You've found your place. I moved to Guanajuato two years ago from the US and the only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner. Viva México!
Very interesting interview!! Thanks for sharing about your life in Xalapa! Hopefully one day I can visit. Saludos desde New Jersey
I was raised in Xalapa until I left to come to the US at age 18. I love Xalapa so much and miss it very much.

Hi Sarah. I visited Jalapa about 15 years ago. I bought an jacana . Sorry to say I never mastered it . Got to know Roy Dudley who owns a photo studio there. He is a very interesting fellow. Do you know Roy, if so is he well? Jalapa is a very interesting place. I really enjoyed the museum with the Olmec stone heads. I really enjoyed your video. Best wishes from central Florida. Vince

I haven't met Roy, but have heard of him! I think it's time for a meeting. :)
Greetings from Merida
Sounds walkable so no need for a car ? Thx !
How are the mosquitoes there? I noticed an airbnb has nets over the beds, is there cause for concern for those of us who attract mosquitoes more than others?
Spell correction jarana . Spell check did it to me again.
My wife is from xalapa

Not long at all, though the closest beaches aren't necessarily the nicest, haha! The closest beach really worth going to (in my opinion) is Villa Rica, and it's about a 2-hour drive.

Cathy, we're at www.expatsinmexico.com.
is there a large expat community and do you need to know spanish well to get along ok?

The expat community is quite small, so you definitely need some Spanish. There are pockets of expats in nearby Coatepec and Xico.
Did we meet you at the Meetup? 😂
