Basically the problem with titanfall was always the problem with action games. It’s like eating cake and ice cream every day. It’s fun for a bit but you eventually get sick and tired of it. Titanfall was pretty much what I wanted from a sequel to halo reach, and if bungie made more halos after, they’d probably look similar. Problem mostly boils down to there’s not enough core gameplay improvements over cod and battlefield, so a game that’s somewhat trapped in the middle is immediately fun but loses its charm after a while once you realize that it’s just dipping into both pools and never settling on either. I love little games like these but they admittedly don’t last long enough because they don’t commit to one niche long enough for people to stay. That’s why apex is successful and Titanfall isn’t.

I think the reason people keep saying "gaming is dead" every other year is because of situations like this, where a franchise that basically raised a generation of budding gamers dies and the emotional weight of the death feels as heavy as the entire industry of gaming itself. Gaming is art, and art is infinite, but I understand the sentiment. This feels like gaming just lost a vital organ.

I love the titanfall series. It is definitely in my top 10 and probably even in my top 5. But the game was just not enough in the multiplayer to work for. The maps, modes, and weapons was not enough to stay engaged for more than a few months. And the crazy thing, iirc the 2nd game had like 10 multiplayer maps but you could have told me there was less than 5 and I would have believed you. Because I have only been able to play the same 3 or 4 maps over and over.

I consider myself a titanfall 1 and 2 vet, and although I absolutely love the mechanics, the gamemodes were the downfall of this game. They had a great concept of contrasting fast paced pilot gameplay, with slow paced titan gameplay but they failed create a decent way to mix the two by forcing them into known call of duty game modes. Titanfall needs its own flagship game mode for people to fully embrace the game, almost like how the payload game mode represents tf2/Overwatch and their identity.

The thing I like most about Kotor 2 is that it's a galaxy practically free from jedi or sith because the last wars wiped most of them. This alliws you to see what the galaxy really is, how it thinks, how it feels, what truly is the Force and even how all these wars were never it's problem to begin with

As fun as it is, we should enjoy it while it LAST, Games like this only last ONE generation because once EXECUTIVES of big corps see $$$, they will inevitably find some way to monetize much of it as possible, and they WILL RUIN it, its not a matter of IF, but a matter of WHEN. Sony can't even get it together to get the game unbanned in still 175 countries that can't even buy it because of some conflict of those those countries rights. The whole PSN debacle that they tried to, and WILL EVENTUALLY FORCE you to. You cannot fight against the shareholders and Sony would rather see the entire franchise fail while attempting to increase shareholder equity, than to see it succeed without it.

Revan's decisions and actions before (malachor V, dxun) and after that event led him step by step more away from lightside, which is totally expected cause he was approved from his followers again to compare it with Anakin's situation who hadn't been properly and in right time confronted by Jedi Council because of his misbehavior. Moreover I've been theorising that his first search for Star Maps with Malak (that well known scene inside dantooine ruins we see in game) and dark side energy from these maps (they were created with same technology as Star Forge which corrupted Builders) was very significant reason to be tempted by the power he discoveres, letting dark side corruption even further led his decisions during war we know ad Jedi Civil. If you remember Jedi party members (Bastila, Jolee, Juhabi) in Kotor use to mention in dialogues about their bad feelings while being near Star Maps.

Titanfall and BF4 were my last FPS to play online. I started to have wrists pain (my doctor kept telling me that it was not carpal tunnel), but with the deah of Titan Fall 1 and the BR and lootbox everywhere, I feel like I would have stopped playing FPS daily anyways. I already stopped playing CoD after MW3, and BO2 made changes I didn't like. I don't recognize the online FPS anymore. It's just junk. I still play games, using a controller and keeping it to single-player only so I can play and pause to avoid the pain to come. So yeah, I still purchased TitanFall 2, but only for the single-player campaign, and it was worth it.
