    They need a guy like Gary Trent to replace Gary Harris and they need to get rid of Wendell for a better Center. Keep the bench pieces like Anthony, Fultz, Isaac, Wagner.

    No way does Edey have the skillset and athleticism of Yao Ming. He's got the size but Yao was phenomenally quick and agile for a 7 foot plus guy, Edey just doesn't have the physical gifts Yao had. Doesn't mean he can't be an NBA players, he won't be fluid like Yao but will be a position scorer and defender and will need a solid team defensive scheme to minimize him getting ISO'd on the perimeter. Should be a solid rim defender and rebounder and if he can develop a mid range game no reason he can't find a role in the NBA.

    As much as everyone is tired of Monty, I AM glad he's instilling defense in these young players. Even if we can't shoot we can still be a decent defensive team.

    I honestly think it's insane how nobody is talking about the wizards at all. They're easily in a much worse situation than the pistons with like 1 more win to their name.

    Agreed! I’ve been thinking this all year. I’d see the pistons lose close games to good teams then see the wizards play like a team that doesn’t like each other.

    Ben Simmons could be a great role-player, like Sochan most probably will be (maybe even a "star-roleplayer" like Rodman was). The problem lies only in the clash with expectations.

    I think the goal with the experiment was to spur the growth of Sochan to be a point forward more reminiscent of Draymond with the excellent defense and good passing vision.

  • @mickiemallorie
    @mickiemallorie3 ай бұрын

    My argument has been Pop and coaching team saw the level of patience, and team making ability in Kyle Anderson and saw potential for Sochan. You can also look at Derrick White as well...the Spurs just have really intelligent guys on their teams that can make great decisions on the court that win games in little ways. What Kyle can do that actually not many players can do, is slow the game down and orchestrate offense and defense. Jeremy having this potential ability, plus being more athletic and a better scorer, gives you an amazing third option and some one you can't plan for impacting the team. People will point out this "experiment" is already done, but I don't think Jeremy at point was ever the plan. The Spurs never intended to be a winning team. They aren't done using the draft...the figured why not give some of our guys some new challenges to lay the groundwork for areas we want them to go. They want Jeremy as a point forward, not a point guard.

    Russ stayed and that's about all that needs to be said about why he is a greater Thunder than KD. I think a lot of what being a franchise goat means is having loyalty to your team. I think KD is a better player, but their accomplishments/team impact on the Thunder is pretty comparable, especially since so much of their history is intertwined.

    Easiest franchise goat. Steph really brought us up from the gutters. I think if you were gonna put Looney in fan favorite, its crazy that Iguodala isn’t there too. Also Jason Richardson should've been there with BD, but that's just the inner kid in me. I would put KD on the list just to show him respect, personally i dont think we should retire his jersey tho. Great video
