I just watched my dream car. My father had a 65 2+2 421 4 speed convertible. He's been gone for a long time and I've always wanted one of those cars. I'm not successful enough to afford one so I guess I'll just enjoy these videos
I need that digital dash in my 1978
Shit-show??? My 68 Impala convertible handles great, no problems with it at all. Do you pay the people to say that so you sell more of your overprices chassis?
The stock Catalina was not fun to drive??? IRS puts the power good to the ground? Why then do they still use 4-link solid axles in dragracing??? Are you smoking crack before you do these videos?
Boys is this thing done? i would like to see it rolling
My 86 silverado still has the coldest air of any rig I've owned. Must be that evil R12
❤
You guys are genis 😊👍
This is badass
Some guys ( and gals) just have it. These are the guys. Spectacular
really cool cars and creation... simply your GPA 2.85
Hands down AWESOME………
Damn that is pretty. Even without the powder coating. Fun to watch this video too.
I owned a 67 green FB with 390/C6. 4 drum brakes. Fun, but a hassle to steer and stop. Too front heavy. I put up with the hassle just to look cool.
They build some awesome cars also
8000rpm. Rich guys don't even know what they buy.
wow the mic place was awful in this. the audio volume is all over the place
Absolutely knocked it out of the park
Not really a fan of 3rd generation camaro, but this is a sweet ride! Congrats to the owner.
my dream car , i remember my 1986 , miss this car so much fun with in drag racing , love it
Quarter million dollar build?
Where can I get those interior pieces
My goal in life is the own a Grand National. My dilemma is keeping an original one as it is, or making into this.
This one bad boy!!! Keep up the good work. AWESOME!!!!!
I could not see anything else than a proper manual transmission in those rebuild RS cars..American modern motors deserve a manual..auto trans just does not give you that incredible driving pleasure & control.....
finally a set-up where the throttle body & filter sucks fresh air outside the engine bay...i built something similar on an older Turbo SW VOLVO ,the empty space behind the front fender became a large fiber air-box & KN filter (with a small fan, heat sensor & gage) ..
a light green tinted glass all over would be perfect..
This is the type of art i would pay for
So calming, can watch for hours.
Lil Chris getting it done, high quality as usual 💪🏼
🤘💀🤙
my dream car , nice to see you and your kid , enjoy time :)
Very cool
😊rusty denakkak sweet yes
Bet thats a 5 figure interior job or pretty close to it.
15:46 whats that spare tire? is it the same size as the normal tires? looks too small. Will that get me home? where's the jack and such to go with it?
11:16 make a bezel with the 4wd knob integrated. One big pick, get rid of the non intermittent wipers. with new wiring harnesses and such put intermittent in there. my 78 had it factory. still a pita but nowhere near as bad as non intermittent.
Hey guys never think I'm picking on yall. I'm not. you guys are absolutely the shit! Just saying things we square owners hate about our trucks we wish you would fix. You guys seem to be the ones to complain to as you're in a position to fix these shortcomings. If you guys cant fix it no one can.
9:22 go for buckets in some of them. I upgraded my 78 c20 with 91 suburban bucket seats. They ride really well and have a center console. Most people aren't riding 3 people in these things. Get some buckets. 91 burban seats are a good place to start and they have fold down arm rests on both sides.
9:44 That looks like a nice place to be.
9:09 what us tall guys need is the front of the seat to be raised so we have thigh support. I had to do that to all my squares that had stock bench seats in them. I raised the rear 2" and the front 3.5" then It stopped hurting my hips to drive them long distance.
5:57 It looks like its supposed to. I'm sure its way better than what came on it new. I miss the wood trim in my 77.
4:52. That is perfection. Don't change a thing. That is a Squarebody as an escalade. Only thing I would change about that is the driver...lol
I been looking at that pic for 10 minutes and cannot find one single thing I would change about it. It's just right. the 4 small gauges, the door handle relocation, the touch screen, the 4wd knobs... that gorgeous steering wheel. keeping the ac vents where they were... seat and console... trim on top of instument cluster bezel, wood on steering wheel door panels, keeping the vent wings. damn its beautiful.
Even that color goes with damn near every exterior color. Mine would be a black 77 with full outer trim with the yellow stripes.
did find one thing. get rid of the 1500 on rh side of dash. Chevy isnt a gmc. put the trucks trim level there like its supposed to be.
4:52 been looking at that picture for 10 minutes. I can't find one single thing wrong with it. I can't find one single thing I would change. That is amazing. Every single thing is just right. That's your Denali Interior, maybe even Squarebody Escalade.
Sexiest one of these trucks is a '77 in black with full trim with the yellow lines in the trim. That's the one I'd have built.
That blue and white is my second choice but I don;t want the 77 trim on it. want the black striped trim.
kick ass chassis, bad ass rig.
7:06 the middle lever... can you stop halfway between selections of dash, flr, def or do you have to fully select them? I 90% of the time in my stock system use the Bi-Lev setting which is half floor half dash. Can you do this on the vintage air system?
6:12 They still gonna slam the shit out of the doors for no reason...lol
What's the fuel tank capacity? Any options to get a larger tank?
Would be nice to take it cross country on the freeway and have at least a 500-600 mile range before fillup.
3:40 I think it has Willow Green Paint.
Can I get LT295/70R17 tires? I want BFGs with white letter tires and that's the only way. Is that possible? These trucks must have raised white letter tires.
