Not surprised at thermalwright CPU cooler. No reason to spend the extra on any of these coolers, UNLESS.. You are going for an aesthetic build where a specific cooler matches your scheme. On a performance note. I would get the best thermalwright or skip the competition and go straight to an Arctic liquid cooler, as they are the best According to many reviews. I personally don't have a chip that has a crazy core count that requires an AIO. Cool results. Interesting the noctua nhu12a is such a beat for being that small.

I rma'd an Asus wrx80e Sage se WiFi 2 motherboard I had purchased from Scan uk, the replacement didn't work it had a bent pin in the Socket and exposed copper on the motherboard. Scan said it wasn't covered under warranty but they would send it for repair to asus and pay the repair cost themselves but couldn't guarantee repair, I am annoyed to say the least the motherboard was damadged on receipt I've been waiting since second week of March and still nothing I'm left without a pc to use

Well it’s looks like your not the only one Gamer Nexus has a list showing the ASUS problems form consumers and so far it has reached around 100 mabye more. This is enough to no longer buy or recommend ASUS products anymore. ASUS will not exist in 2025 unless they change their policy’s or be bought out by different company. Going forward the brand that I now recommend is Asrock as I have had no issue with their products. When an issue did arise they immediately replaced my motherboard with a brand new one with a handwritten note saying on behalf of Asrock we are sorry. So yeah going forward Asrock is my recommendation.

OH MY GOD! As a current Asus products owner(My main PC is using ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WIFI D4, ROG Strix 850W White edition PSU and ROG Strix LC 360 White edition AOI CPU cooler), I have so far no issues with these products(Or maybe I have, just didn't noticed lol). However I think that I will not buying any Asus products anymore in the future cuz I really hate customers being treated like a fool.

Some days ago I placed an order for an Asus wrx90e. Today I received an used wrx80e inside the box of the wrx90e, sold and shipped by Italian Amazon. Customer support tells me they send directly from the Asus warehouse. Something's really wrong.

when I got my Asus motherboard that I ordered before, it is also a second hand, I paid for full price but they gave me a USED MOBO. I was furious at first becuase it is not what I paid for, I tried using it and let's see what problems will it bring so I can gather more evidence and start complaining about it. So far it is still working up to this day, I am wishing now that whatever happens next will not affect every component I have. But it is very true that ASUS did send used mobo. to their customer, not getting replaced brand new. I am a fan os ASUS but now that I had seen so many bad practices within the company and lertting down avid customers. I think it is time to move on and try another brand.

I like cheap used Asus boards that are working when I buy them. That way if they take a dump its out of warranty anyway and the RMA hell is avoided. I haven't bought a new Asus board since x470 AM4 for a client build years ago. Personally I have been on AsRock, Gigabyte and MSI for some time now. Just purchase from a retailer with good return policies and test EVERYTHING before the return window expires. Good luck out there PC builders!

The bulk of my activities where there is high load on CPU is converting my project to KZread videos and chess engine calculations.I'm open to suggestions if anyone is happy to suggest something else. Actually I did some calculations, I'm getting more CPU marks per dollar with 14th gen.

Having an ASUS monitor, mobo, and GPU all this negative news about the lack of customer service and downright shady practices is very worrisome. I've already had to deal with Corsair RMA within 6 months of building my PC, and I run my computer hard, overclocking and heavy gaming, putting a way higher stress on the components and worrying about having to go through all this nonsense. It's almost worth it to go buy new parts if they were to break (granted they weren't brand new). I love my ASUS monitor and my GPU (RTX 4070 Ti OC) is a beast and gets the performance (OC'd) of a 4080... all while still being relatively affordable. Let's do better ASUS, you're far too large to be acting in such a way, but you ARE NOT too big to fall and fail!

I'm most surprised in the thinking you will get a "new" product. Always assume it is a replacement (refurbish) is not stated otherwise, from any company. Sometimes they look more used and sometimes they look new but they are almost never new. Also most of EU doesn't get replacement of MB directly from the manufacturer, more than not you go through the store/place of purchase and handle it. With that said, you got some quite bad repaired ones as replacement. I have used a few different manufactures MB and the 2 times I needed to get them replaced I either got a new from the store or a refurbished that looked almost new (from service) The last from Amazon is clearly them selling it as new and not ASUS but still very bad. If it's not BNIB you can't market it as that in EU, you have to clearly state that it is refurbished or what not. Even just opened but with all accessories (which is Brand new) is often lowered in price like 5-10% from RSP by the store.

I bought Asus apex encore New, two weeks ago on Amazon £630. Not sealed box and board was used sent it back and received another and that one was the same(landed up keeping that one because I really wanted this board and didn't want to keep returning it, but shocked with this scam) Amazon blames it on a third party Asus seller (who blames it on Amazon)

Amazon is actually terrible, terrible seller. Why they are cheaper? I got lawn mower that was apparently a return, not used, but returned none the less. Than I got Dell docking station meant for UAE market. This one at least was new one. I very rarely buy at Amazon, and there is always something like this.

I have a Intel i7 14700 CPU and am returning my gigabyte Auro Z790 as RAM slot faulty. I'm wondering if I should wait till computex or get a Proart board. I heard a Rumer new lg1700 boards being released although I'm doubtful .Hmm So should I wait just in case. If Arrow lake were to be released sooner than Q4 id wait but don't think that'll be the case. Any thoughts..

7:15 I don't think you understand the rendering market at all. And with rendering, I assume we're talking about 3D rendering, effects rendering, VFX etc. For example, for 3DS Max, popular renders are the Arnold render, V-ray and Art render. They have each their benefits and are chosen based on the work you want to do. ART uses CPU only and Arnold uses both CPU and GPU.

This grip makes little sense. increases the capacity by only one battery at the expense of significantly enlarging the camera. The trigger cable plugged into the device is bizarre. It's a pity, but I'd rather replace the battery in the camera than install a large grip. You don't buy A6xxx to have a big camera.

I've been having problems with Asus since their netbook (EeePC) days. I've bought 5 products from them, every single time there's always something wrong somewhere in the product, whether it's the main unit itself of the original charger it was bundled with. I've never considered Asus a high-quality brand. Although they're Taiwanese, they feel like some no-name sellers from Shenzhen.

This video has frustrated me! Lads, this is not how you resolve this issue. Firstly personalise your WiFi, I bet his channel is auto, assign channel 11 maybe. Never put your hub in a dark dinghy corner, at least once a week/fortnight turn the hub off, cool, back on. Ok so the speed test app, run it in the room, amazing? Ok, move 5 meters towards destination, close any doors along the way/path. Run test, amazing? Repeat. Ok, found a drop spike? Go back to previous amazing spot, install a repeater, ok from there keep going towards the destination, another drop? Guess what, install another repeater. Now are you in the attic? Amazing, use WiFi? Do no more, fire on, want a lan/switch, guess what? Another repeater. So, if your wiring circuit/electrics are on the same circuit, get ethernet over mains. Much easier. Also, hub 5ghz? Phone, pc 5ghz? But your repeater is 2.5ghz? Guess what, throughput will be vastly less. Don't say these things don't work when they do, you don't understand how they work. It's not fair on the products. A paint tin and a roller doesn't mean you can paint. You said they don't work, they do, you just don't understand how they work. Play music on your phone, put it down, start walking away, close doors, notice anything? Yes, it's all frequency. Frequency depletion is the issue, find it and then repair it. Devices/LEDs all electronic devices can interrupt WiFi. Learn this before you say it doesn't work. It's CHEAP because of the throughput, not cause it's crap. It can only repeat what it can hear! Full WiFi means zero when it can't hear the signal.
