We do things a little different around here.
We love the weird, the broken, and the "deals." We might be fixing it to keep or we might be getting it ready for it's next owner and flipping it. Honestly, we never know.

When the exhaust is closing and inlet is opening.. you are on the rock. Thanks man…
Thanks for posting this but get 4 paper clips and big rubber bands or small bungee cords and pull the push rod covers up out of the way.
Hey man, Question . I've got a 99 sportster that's blowing oil out the trans vent tube. Any idea what it could be. Hell yeah on the bike bro
I took several 2 to 3 k tours on my Silverwing with no problem. Wish I still had it !!
That’s rad!
Great video! helped alot with installing my pushrod's👍🏻 , as a learner does the sideplay make any difference?
what advice would you give when it comes to motorcycle parts what should sold and shipped and what shouldn't be sold
Hey! It is really up to you! We sell mostly everything that we can verify the condition and measurements. Sometimes used motor parts are hard because you don’t always know how many miles or condition of the motor it was taken out of. Bulky items (tanks, fenders, wheels) require more time and patience when shipping but are totally doable. Thanks for watching 🤘
I used four small bungees to lift all four covers while you’re workin on em, much less frustrating 👍🏼
I don’t feel sorry for anyone that gets scammed on these Facebook groups. There a guy and myself that took It upon ourselves to start warning naive people in three of the groups we are in and we both gave up. The scammers either blocks us immediately or the potential victim continues to chat back and forth trying to set up a deal. Few days later there’s always a post from the victim about being scammed. It never fails. Most of them deserve It at this point.
I just bought a 04 at a brokerage. They were going to deliver it. One of the holddown straps broke the starter button off. Really ticked me off. Been waiting for almost a week for it. They are going to fix it but have to wait for the part.
Oh no! That’s sucks for sure.
Great video man thanks!!!
Thanks for watching!
Have a burgundy silver wing just like it . Bought it 3yrs ago. Best thing I bought.
Very nice!
The best simplest video yet!
Wow, thanks!
Beothherr where can I buy your windscreen?
Brother where so you buy that windscreen?

Looks good man nice job , I always thought about a 1500 wing engine in my electra glide to piss of my harley buddies lol
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

paper clip and a rubber band to hold covers up. also when cam lobes are down 'base circle' piston is up on TDCC. top dead center compression. so you did it correctly and had it on TDCC :)
Kinda disappointed to see a RockStar drink and not a can of Busch Heavy...lmfao
Hahaha
39 years wrenching. A.S.E. Master tech. L1. This is the BEST a$$ thing I have seen in decades. Found it by accident, but I think I am gonna subscribe.
Thank you! We truly appreciate it.
Why didn't you ride it. I have the same bike.
Kind of a pain in the axx place to ride out and only riding motorcycles and not a scooter before.Wish I would have now.
Wow you have really made it so simple man I don’t do good with reading how to do things like this and I have done it before but it’s been 16 years and can’t remember how to do it right
So happy it helped!
Sweet Mullet!
Thanks 🤘
I hate the customers that purchase your part for a lowball offer then starts asking questions on what it fits 🤦🏻♂️ I had one asked 20 questions and wanted more pictures afterwards only to tell me he didnt like something about it and wasnt going to pay for it. Blocked immediately and reported to Ebay..🙄
It’s wild out there! 🤣🤘
I do a limit on my best offers to prevent lowballs. I make my offer limit the lowest I am willing to take. Video games are the worst for lowballers. Not sure if its just people trying to get something for nothing like you said or if they are also resellers trying to get it cheap to resell for their own. I do free shipping on anything that will cost me $10 to ship and just mark the price up that much. Car parts I make them pay shipping. The shipping pays my time boxing it up. I also dont do returns unless I screwed up or if they do reach out, but they pay for return shipping. If they do all that, I'll refund them no matter what!
Those are all good practices!
Does Harly Davidson chopper parts ring a bell?
It does not. Thanks for watching.
Walk around with no rake and trail specs, nor frame geometry such as down tube stretch and bends… very interesting bike, this walk around video is a waste of time.
Da fack is that 😂😂😂😂
Harley fxr chopper
Hell yeah, this one's going in my Save folder for when I have to do this job. Great simplified instructions! 👍 I get a headache watching most other vids on this subject 😂
Thanks for watching!
Great work... most videos made it sound like you're supposed to adjust the cylinder on the bay circle.. good job explaining
Thanks for watching 🤘
So less complicated mucho Thanks
Happy it helped!
@@fixingorflipping I just performed your technique on my pushrods and Absolute Perfection. If you ever come to So Cal Drinks on me.
where'd you get the drink holder? :0
So I have a softail evo here and I want to adjust the pushrods. The bike is noisy right now so I am sure it needs to be adjusted. My question is. With them all ready pre adjusted in the bike. Do I just get the cam to poition, and then adjust them to slight lash?
I would totally back them off and start over with the adjustment process. Usually once pushrods have been adjusted correctly, they don’t require re-adjustment. So if the bike was quiet and then over time got noisy,, you could have a bad lifter.
I meant to start a button on my bike, O2 Valkyrie nothing response
Out of all the "adjust pushrod" videos I watched, yours was the icing on the cake. I did exactly as you instructed, ignored such things as TDC, and had no knowledge of my brand names to use any such calculator charts (flats info etc), and now my bike runs perfectly after a complete rebuild! I cannot thank you enough for solving what I believed was a mysterious pain in the ass problem with no solution in sight. THANKS!!!
Hell yeah!!! Glad we could help
I am here trying to find out the same info as I just vought the bike and have no idea how many turns to do on teh nut after zero lash. How many did you do?
I know it could be done! Great job Josh!
🤘🤘🤘
Frank Josh used motorcycle parts is he legit. I need a reputable motorcycle parts seller
Love them Valkyries. I've had 3.
Very cool 🤘
If your ignition coils were original then they would have a yellow sticker on top with the Motorcraft logo. These are replacement Motorcraft coils so they were changed fairly recently. I would say the spark plugs were done at the same time in your case. Just changed my coils a bit ago and come to find out we hadn't changed them since we got the Ex in 2000. The coils were manufactured in 1997!
I sell mc parts on eBay as well, I am sure you know, but Shopify has built a few sites for other selling parts...
We actually are working on getting all of our items onto Shopify this week!!
Thanks for the informative video. I just bought a Class C RV with the 6.8 so it’s nice to see how much work goes into this job compared to a 5.4. They also sell affordable magnetic spark plug sockets. I paid around $20 on Amazon for a pack of three different sizes.
Thank you very much
random question, but how does this bike do going over potholes?
It was pretty harsh to be honest. That’s the only reason I didn’t keep it. I completely rebuilt the forks and put new progressive rear shocks on it and the ride was still rougher than I like
Definitely go for Avon cobra chrome tyres they suit the valkyire, I have a 1997 they can definitely get up and go you can also plod in 5 at 500 rpm the only thing sort of wrong !! it needs a rev limiter , I've gone through the red line a few times , much miss under stood bike
Bro thank you so much your method it work for me started my Evo up today after a few months of trying to figure out how to installing ajustable push rods thanks again happy trails
Glad it helped 🤘
@fixingorflipping could you please do a video on base gasket and lifter block gasket 96 evolution motor. I wish mine would stop leaking. Great video on push rod adjustment. 0:41
I got a Ford 1999 V10 super duty 4 * 4 go down the road and runs when I first crank it come back home cut it off it won't crank back up what causes that
Nice😎🤘🏼
thanks for helping me understand this. your video is perfect thank you
Glad it helped!
Tip over sensor. That would have driven me crazy.
Ok so what happens if when they bleed down you still can't free spin them? Just back them off a little more til they free spin? I'm still unclear on this and I'm going to install a 1275 kit with SE heads on my Sportster. So please reply. Thanks.
If they don't bleed down to the point where you can spin the rods with your fingers, you most likely turned more flats than is required for your specific push rods. Check your threads per inch and correct accordingly. S&S quickie push rods are 4 turns (or 24 flats) for example. Other brands may only require 3 turns, (18 flats).
I'm doing that job today on a e450 van. Access is not as bad as I first thought. First pliug i pulled had a huuuuge plug gap close to 0.075!!! Thanks for your time. Cheers John
Nice work!
Big country!!!! Haha. Great video. Helps with my research
Glad you enjoyed!
