I think nintendo might have considered having the switch be backward compatible, but then they came out with that rom cart, and now I know nintendos done shifted all their gears away from the switch cart format, probably doing something identical yet totally different, just for "security"

I think the biggest reason why people might be mislead into thinking the old zelda formula is just plain bad, is because the switch is the only great game system to have a worthy original zelda game on it. Wind water and twilight princess are amazing, but released on the gamecube.

Castiti as number 1 for me can be very accurate since she can heal entire team without spending any items with her Latent Power in Early Game, but using Osvald and Orchette can be so fun too.

The best of a generation? A Zelda SPINOFF, A Mario and Luigi game that looks like a 3ds games, a re-release of an HD re-release and okay, Metroid, that looks about as good as Metroid Prime, not better. Cmon man. Nintedo peaked this gen at BOTW and Odyssey

Throne at 7 is wild. Speedrunners user her as the default starting character. Steal allows for gear aquisition for free allowing you to save leaves for the beastling hired help(which trivializes the game), her path action buff the party when you battle enemies at night, the 4th passive for theif job gives an xp and jp boost at night, aerbers reckoning is one of the earliest abilities to beak 9999 in the game, and her latent power allowing for a second action during a turn on top of other passive skills allowing for additional actions make her one of the best utility characters in the game. Also her stats are good enough(and balanced enough) to utilize damage dealing classes as well. She is a jack of all trades untility character.

Dude... shadow of the colossus. Came out on Ps2 in 2005. Then was remade/remastered for Ps3. And then on Ps4. Then on Ps5.. because they know people liked the game. You are so brave to post a vid putting Osvald last and Throne second to last! One of the many things I absolutely love about this game is that all of the characters have unique individual strengths and can all be made to be exceptionally useful paired with the right secondary job. I never felt like I had a "weak link" in my party at any point.

I think it has more to do with osvald being a worse version of cyrus.losing the ease of access 2 hit spells makes him feel worse. On top of that in my opinion he has the worst path actions in the game with his only redeeming quality being the study passive. I agree he still not bad but definitely a big step back from what cyrus was. I don't think he is 8 in my opinion he is 7 with agnea being 8.

I know I have a more controversial opinion, but I feel that the old games should NOT be re-released in the manor that they are being re-released. I do not agree with the idea of banking on nostalgia. Its over used and isn't healthy. companies should be focusing on new and novel experiences and not nostalgia! Yes nostalgia sells! but so do many other things that aren't healthy for the industry. Fan remakes and preservation should be focused on.

How tf is Mario Kart Wii number 2? It’s the most iconic game in the entire series and has stayed alive longer than any of the other Mario Kart games Not to mention, it gave us coconut mall, grumble volcano, maple treeway, DK summit, mushroom gorge, and many more iconic tracks, possibly the best tracklist in any Mario kart game The soundtrack is also crazy good and it gave us T H E F U N K Y K O N G so it gets extra points for that That’s why MKWII should be number 1

Between Metroid Prime 4 and the next Pokemon? Metroid Prime 4 gonna be more better than the Pokemon bullshit game we gonna have the next years since between Retro Studios in the Metroid serie and Gamefreak / Pokemoney Compagnies in the Pokemon serie, Retros Studio did a lot of good thing in video game and in the Metroid serie than Gamefreak / Pokemoney Compagnies when we see how those last Pokemon games sucks such Scarlet and somes others Pokemon games that the Pokemon community was mad about them so I don't expect anything toward the next crap Pokemon game. To be honnest, instead another useless Pokemon game, it would be better to have some other true video game more better than a Pokemon game such Star Fox, F-Zero and Kid Icarus since, after all, it's not like if we suffer a lack of cash grab games on the Nintendo Switch between more than 10 Pokemon and Mario game and 6 Kirby and Fire Emblem during those 7 years on the Nintendo Switch unlike Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, Kid Icarus and more huh?

I agree. I think it has to do with him being compared with cyrus from octopath 1. Cyrus was up until endgame the most essential character in the entire game. Osvald on the other hand isn't. I currently am doing a plat run on ps5 for the game and I have 5 members at over lv 50 and still haven't picked him up. Probably grabbing him last too.

For anyone looking for a different ranking: 9: MK 8 Deluxe, item system sucks, least fun I've had with any Mario Kart because of the ungodly broken and trash item system 8: MKSC, it's fine for it's time but doesn't really hold up, but the ammount of tracks is awesome. 7 MK64, very buggy, a lot of boring tracks but also a few very fun ones and fun to play due to it's chaotic nature 6 SMK, very difficult but also very rewarding if you know how to play and if you know how to play it, it is so much fun 5. MK7 the new ideas are great, the tracks are great but the blue shells are so annoying that I can't give it a higher place 4 MK8 great tracks, nice item system, very polished (although a little to polished) however worse glider than MK7 and basically no shortcuts. 3 MKDD very fun, most "different" (in a positive way) Mario Kart that is also very rewarding when played good and the all cup tour is just so good. 2 MKDS, great tracks, introduced retro tracks, great mechanics, very satisfying to play. 1 MKWii, best tracks, extremely brocken (in a good way), best modding scene, insanely fun to play when you are good, extremely competetive, Funky Kong Flamerunner and all in all just the best. Is it the most polished? No, but it is so fun because it's not.

The cancelling had me so confused for no reason at all simply because the game explains this twice early on. First it has a tutorial that explains how to charge up the special gauge and then it explains cancelling which pretty much goes hand in hand. So I thought I was doing something wrong bc theyre literally applied the same way. 😐

My version of the glitch is even weirder as my game acknowledges that I got the spark in the secret zone of palette prime and 100%ed everything, yet the progress for it is still at 99%, which is the oddest thing in the world

I think you can make every character great. I personally love Ochette, the different beasts are op and having her equip the merchants ability to charge up the latent power at the beginning to full (without her having the merchants profession) is just so op.

I am iffy on her personally cause the beast damage falls off in endgame. Since I prefer armsmaster on hikari she basically is the default go to breaker. Is there a way to increase the beast damage that I don't know about?

There is also one post-story ability of Ochette, that lets you use multiple beasts back to back (initially 3 but you can charge it with BP and increase the number of beasts). You can use the same beast multiple times but you cannot use one of the stronger ones like Glacis. I hope that answers your question :)

@@littleartkid8587 actually since commenting I found out about a glitch that allows you to use provoke in place of that ability to use max charge beasts. There is a beast that garuntee hit for 4 shield points and you can call it up to 6 times garunteeing a break on anything. It trivializes everything. Just 3 of that 2 of another debuffing boss monster and a chubby cait. Every boss fight after that(Including a superboss) is trivialized.

I really liked 8 until they put those tour tracks in. They're really confusing. It also feels very... Light? Double dash, ds, and wii had a bit of weight to them if that makes any sense.

I have an idea that will have a bulbmin based on the hairy bulborb. The Hairy Bulbmin:I inspired the funtion of this bulbmin from a dandelion you will be able to throw this bulbmin to let it fly to faraway areas in caves kind of similar to the winged pikmin but bit faster,and it will fall slowly. In combat you need to throw this bulbmin to let it bite the enemy while in air without being eaten and you can hold the throw button to throw a group hairy bulbmins this will allow them to stick to each other and bite together at the same time,but it has a bit lower health than a normal bulbmin.
