    She was probably the inspiration for Life in Adventure Time who's depicted as a female humanoid with twin Serpent heads.

    Did the ancient Samosns pray to Tagaloa, or was he simply a creator that existed w/o worship?

  • @Mythlok
    @Mythlok4 күн бұрын

    Well... As the Samoans were known to worship atuas or ancestorial spirits, it would be difficult to say if there was actual worship of Tagaloa who was predominantly a creator god. However, there are groups today who actually worship Tagaloa.

    The Badb is part of what is known as na Morrigna- The Great Queens or Phantom Queens. Her sister in that are Nemain (Neven), Macha (Maka- back of the throat), Fea (Fee-ah), and Anu/Anann. The Morrigna are different from The Morrígan, but a part of Her too. It's mysterious and just comes down to your interpretation of Gallic lore.

    Very interesting. We did brush upon this during our research but found it too contradicting with what the majority were citing. Glad to know that it is an prevalent POV among practioners

    @@Mythlok That's the thing. There is no concrete point of on the part of practitioners. It's widely debated just who"The Daughters of Ermnas" are and how They relate because the lore is not concrete. Hence, the contradictions.

    Thank you so much for making this!! I have been praying to this goddess, as she is of my ancestry. I believe she has called me to bring a message that potatoes will save us all. Plant and grow potatoes at home!! Potatoes are our gift, let them help us. ❤

    Hi there, great video. But why do you not reference the sources of your research? You do not list them here or on your website. Thank you

  • @Mythlok
    @Mythlok14 күн бұрын

    That is true. When we started out, we wanted this to be an open ended type of content where actual practitioners of the belief system contribute. As we grew bigger we just did not get to referencing stuff. Now we feel that the boat has sailed.

    i read an amazing article in reddit let me paste it. it actually blows my mind right now : If you correlate the proximity of those countries and our genepool relation to them, you cant deny the factt that maybe it has some truth, and the word tagaloa is so close to tagalog, fyi, before the philippines became "philippines" the chinese call our country mayi, mai, which means the landnof the savages which closely resembles to "maui" the central part of hawaii.. and fyi pacific islander languages are distant cousins of tagalog and various languages of our country.. you cant deny that maybe i can be right.. if you look at the malagasy of the people of africa our language is related to themand some.of them are malay looking people, the thing is the malagasy.people are so faf to the philippines yet they are classified as an austronesian decent, (pcfc islanders,malay,indo,polynesian,malagasy)..
