Ptah is an interesting figure, but he is a bit more obscure today; it's amusing, considering he is the Egyptian god of Creation and somehow managed to create his own form from the absence of everything before eating the rest of the universe; he literally created everything, including the rules and laws that govern the universe. He has the unique moniker of the "Unmade Creator" because he literally created himself without any other source. Despite his importance, he was somehow relegated to being a minor deity primarily worshiped by crafters than anything else. And I don't recall seeing a video on him in the channel's library. It might be fun to see the channel dive back into Mesoamerican or Celtic mythology in the foreseeable future.

We will be going back to both at the end of Egypt Month... And interesting observation about Ptah. But in most mythologies, the creator god gets overshadowed quite quickly.

@@Mythlok Well, it's fun to sort of explore when and how that happened, especially in the mythology.

@@dracone4370 Here is some food for thought... Pitah is the ancient Sanskrit work for Father and Mata (Ma'at in Egypt) is the word for mother.

Years ago I had a black cat named Dr. Pepper. He was a big cat whose head came to my knee. One night I came home from work to find police and a man babbling about not wanting to go in there. I lived in an old Victorian home that had been converted into apartments. The only apartment he had not broken into was mine.
