My experience was negative. I have had high blood pressure since age 16- now aged 85. I started methylene blue and my blood pressure went up dramatically. I got off methylene blue and it decreased. One of problems of aging is decrease in ENOS (endothelial nitric oxide synthase- arterial manufacture of nitric oxide, thereby limiting expansion of arteries). Methylene blue is a NO inhibitor

Right now I only have immuneMAX fizzy drink mix that has ascórbico acid, 2000 mg Vitamin c 20 mg Zinc + vitamin d3 and some b 12 niacin and a load of other vitamins… I hope it works as well and doesn’t interferes. I’m adding 20 drops and I’m 5”2’ 160 lbs. I’ve only been taking MB for 3 days. So far no discernible effects. I have brain fog, disorganized thoughts, memory problems, anxiety and chronic fatigue. I need to be healthier for my 9 year old. I hope this works.

Thank you so much for this wonderfully hopeful piece! I have just shared Dr. Kelly Turner's two books with my husband's two oncologists at Stanford U. Medical Center. One was wide open, one was less so - interestingly. But both had proteges with them, and my hope is they they all took in the message, as has my husband, who has read both the books, and is out-doing his predictions so far. I too am a cancer survivor of 27 years, and Dr. Turner's concepts, and Dr. Ron's as well resonate with me as well. I will share this on my social media. Again, thank you!

I'm curious ... why make a synthetic product, vs a whole-plant product (natural ingredients)? Also, what form of vitamin C -- the label doesn't say? Ascorbic acid is synthetic -- is that the form? Or is it acerola cherry, camu camu, or amla -- the highest forms of natural vitamin C? I love the idea of Afaya -- and researched it for my dad's use for his cancer -- and he took this one. Unfortunately, he died in 2022. However, I do believe in the high impact of Afaya -- just would like to see a natural formulation ... vs. synthetic ... PLUS the known high impact of NATURAL forms of vitamin C.

Found this channel by accident. I was taking methylene blue, then high blood pressure flared up and I stopped when I read that methylene blue "interfered with" nitric oxide production and distribution to cells. You certainly know, of course, nitric oxide is essential for blood vessel and heart health. Is there any truth in what I read? I will try to find the source, but I do not remember it being published research.

„ The Ultimate Guide to Methylene Blue” by Mark Sloan may answers the question on nitric oxide. Methylene Blue is potent nitric oxide inhibitor. According to the author NO is not the miracle molecule it is commonly believed to be. It should be reserved for times of stress, hypoxia etc…

Fantastic session! Thank you, Dr. Ron. I'm going to start taking Afaya Plus. I was diagnosed with melanoma stage 3C in November 2021. Had surgery at MD Anderson. Also went through immunotherapy and radiation. Spent 3 weeks at the Riordan Clinic last summer and have been faithful with the IV Vitamin C and mistletoe treatments. Afaya Plus seems like a logical follow-up treatment.

Gut bacteria and microbes can produce helpful chemicals and even ferment nutrients out of hard to digest materials. Unfortunately, several of them also produce harmful chemicals and some can even respond to a sugar fast by triggering withdrawl symptoms and other neurochemical agitators. This is arguably, not good. In the complete absence of plant foods, it seems our gut microbiome completely changes, but we don't see any immediate negative affects after even a few years. Long term studies are on the way. Cancer is generally caused by DNA corruption or partial DNA damage. This then leads to a cell that replicates the wrong code and functions against the host organism, rather than with it. Only two viable strategies have been found that meaningfully reduce the chances of aquiring cancer and decreasing growth and sometimes help fight cancer. The first being prevention: avoid damaging your DNA in the first place, either through radiation from any source strong enough or chemicals proliferating inside the tissues. The second being maximizing bichemical and nutritional health. If you are utilizing "cancer preventing" compounds, but your body is unhealthy, you are still at an elevated risk of aquiring cancer. Plants contain compounds, many of which have been proven to cause cancer forming damage to our DNA, that are meant to deter an animal or bug from eating it. They can't move, so they poison. Some animals can tolerate some plants. Generally though, each animal has a tiny quantity of plants (sometimes 3 or less) that they eat at all. Many animals eat only one food at all. This suggests the "more variation" mantra was never founded in scientific evidence and blindly accepted as an un-researched hypothesis. Humans are possibly the most adaptable, we seem to be able to eat several plants without dying immediately, but many people report negative health after reintroducing these common foods back into their diets. If you can tolerate these foods by all means, enjoy! Many of us cannot.

I agree that grass fed and finished is the gold standard, but cows and other ruminant animals, unlike chickens and pigs, convert PUFA into Saturated Fat in their rumen, so they stay pretty close to that ancestral PUFA level of 2-3%. I say this because some of us (especially those with families) have trouble affording grass fed/finished. It is much, much better to have grain fed beef, than chicken or pork, which can have levels of PUFA of 12-25%, which is devastating to our health
