After my husband had a stroke, I started giving him MB. He had a lot of language and memory deficits. He improved significantly, almost to the point of being back to normal. When he was put in the hospital for 2 weeks for back surgery, he couldn't take MB anymore. He significantly regressed. He's back on MB again now and regaining. MB makes a HUGE difference in how he is able to function!

I'm 86 and a cab driver. After 11-12hrs I was pretty dull by the time I got home, and I'm raising two teenagers so I've got to stay on my toes. I started taking 5mg twice a day with 600mg of NAC twice a day - with two to three thousand of Vit C. I now look forward to that blue tongue in the morning and evening. Yes it works. If you want an extra lift in the morning I recommend taurine - I take three grams - and CoQ10. Your friends at work wont be able to stand you cause while they're on their third cup of coffee trying to wake up you'll be bouncing off the walls with so much energy.

I am 65 weigh 162lbs and very fit. I was becoming increasingly anxious about my memory lapses. A friend told me about methylene blue and I decided to give it a try. I was advised to take 1 drop per 10kg of weight in distilled water, I got terrible headaches for the first two days but was told that this was a herxheimers reaction. I persisted and on the third day I started to feel a lot sharper and more energetic. I have been taking it for about 6 months and feel great, a bonus effect is that my pee flow has got increasingly better, I’m not a doctor but it seems to be working well for me

Take you weight in pounds divide it by 2.2 to get weight in kg. Use pharmaceutical grade 1% methylene blue. One drop = .5ml. 5ml x weight in kg= amount of drops you may take. I find starting out at 20 to 25 drops a good starting point and I don't go over kg x.5 total. So 200 lbs divided by 2.2 = 90.9 kg weight x .5 ml = 45.45. So 45 drops. I use 25 and am good. Mix with asorbic acid in 5 oz water wait for it to turn lite blue. Take liquid cilantro, chorella to pull any impurities out.

I don’t see why not. You will get a definitive answer though if you add lemon/lime to a MB solution. However, the ¼ teaspoon minimum of ascorbic acid would equal 1000mg of vitamin C. One lemon has approximately 50mg….i wonder if that small amount will have an effect.

In order to achieve the amount that Dr. Levy is suggesting at the lowest dose, you would have to take 3.5 ml (please check my math). I will listen again and see if I missed something. By the way, is you stain something when mixing the solution, you can use ascorbic acid to neutralize the stain.

Shorty after starting daily MB, I slipped on black ice and landed squarely on the occiput (back of my head). Apart from feeling dizzy for a few moments, I experienced zero sequalae from this serious blow to the head. Cheapest way to buy MB is to buy it as a powder and mix it up in water. Try to aim for a ~1% concentration. You can then use a dropper to accurately measure out the dose. Drop sizes vary a bit... so you may have to experiment a little to work out the mg/drop. Once you have the mg/drop worked out you can dose which is typically between 10~50 mg/day. Taking more doesn't seem to help. Taking less doesn't seem very effective on most people. You'll probably end up at ~10 mg/day after a while. :-)

I take 50 drops a daily in 16 ounces of water and a few hours later (separately) an ounce of good olive oil (to rebuild nerve coat - insulation). It’s been at the scene as my shakes have reduced and my mental clearing and focus have improved. I started out gradually at 20 drops a day for the first two weeks.
