A beautiful machine! Actually, I do like the colour-scheme that the previous owner has applied, even if it isn't the original one. It looks very "classy" and "high-end".😃

Shame this is not a full sonar tutorial because you explain things far better than the user the game actually uses as it's tutorial videos.. the other guy basically plays the game and informs the watcher when they feel like it...not good imho.. EDIT not played in may years so i'm kind of a noob again, anyway was using GB Trafalgar class for a mission but i'm noticing i don't see any way to mark contacs on specific stations. , and as well i don't see the ship identification database....strange..? thx

It happens on occasion, but the game used to be a lot more readable without all the cosmetics and various weapons. It used to be that it was easy to find out how a specific class would behave, but nowadays it's such a huge spread of different behaviours (pyro somehow whips out a jetpack, etc). The addition of matchmaking kind of detracted from the fun of random servers, but even those had a huge spread. One huge cancer on the game was Saigns (a possibly commercial community operator) who were running a stupid amount of servers where donors could get "premium" (permanent crits, speed hacks and health recovery). The thing that finally killed it for me was the bots though. Now I've played a bit once the bots are mostly gone, but the magic isn't quite there for me any more.

@@1stSpyGuy yeah i get how it is. luckily client side mods are now supported in vanilla servers, so you can get back to what it used to like! honestly im just so glad i got to play in the golden age. what a time i had. the tf2 renaissance is coming though, i can feel it.

You probably already know by now, but the issue with it starting to run the motor after a while will be the capacitor across the motor which is there to cut down on sparking across the speed control contacts is failing.

  • @1stSpyGuy

@@1stSpyGuy Actually I just realised it will be the capacitor across the speed control contacts rather than the motor its self. I have fixed a couple of mine by replacing the capacitor with an eBay "snubber circuit"
