Looks like a really great Springtime day and then to get four units on the freight is even more of a treat. I'm hoping we are finally getting a break as we are 7 1/2 in up on rainfall for the season and we get it like every other day. If this pace stays on it's going to be a tough growing and or harvest season. As this train turns to the left it's almost like taking a deck of cards and fanning them out. Trying to get caught up on tapes and then I suddenly see this batch Adventures with Rodger. While not all rail by a long shot it sure has some esoteric and sometimes weird items about Indiana. Really had a chuckle about Red Skelton that he grew up in Vincennes so no doubt he got on a train or two at the Union Station

For a Grain Train this one is booking right along. Interesting in that it has several older cars and some of the newest Grain Express cars but the majority were from the orders in between. It's already been a while since the CP\KCS merger but because of car routings and how unit trains Stay Together if you find one or two KCS covered hoppers in a 100 car train you're doing well. Finally 3 days without rain

A sharp looking unit provided they keep it clean. A nice mixed General Freight with a good variety of cars including some oldies. On the drone shots the nice straight rows of where the crops are planted Stand Out vividly in the wet soil it almost makes one think they are little rows of rails

Very nicely done certainly the type of train nobody expects to see. Just a hint of green in the fields actually made the colors much more balanced and then the sun came out going into the darker Forest. There was a car similar to this.KWUX 10 when Allis Chalmers still had their large plants in West Allis WI that built huge turbine like this. Also a sharp Caboose to go with it

Nice footage as usual. Ethanol train reminds me of the proposed plant in Grayville, IL...supposed to bring trains back to the old PD&E / IC. Would've been nice to see trains roll down that ROW again, smaller of course but a rebirthed line. Never happened.

Sure looks like spring is coming early by you with everything getting green. Good CN set with the Citirail unit. I see in the beginning there was a big excavator and it looks like a special Crossing was built. Are they trying to make a retention pond for rainwater to use in irrigation? It's just so unnatural not to see some trace of snow around here but we have more rain coming

That is our private crossing. We are doing some maintenance work on the drainage ditch in the background. It's a real bummer working near the tracks. ;) Easter is early so spring is early.
