Loram Rail Grinder working on the CSX CE&D Subdivision

The Loram rail grinder was southbound working south of the Oaktown, IN area and I paced along side on old US 41 at Emison. The drone footage was the next evening south of Vincennes, IN as they were shuttling down to where they stopped the night before. The grinder works at night from 7 pm to 7 am.

Very nice coverage. I think you did one of these a couple years ago but this one at dusk made for some odd contrast and the fact it's the fastest I've ever seen one of these moving and also working. Being in farmland I'll call it the Harvest of the Sparks and nice footage of the deadhead move with fitting music

Thanks! I always try and get them when they run in the area. Usually about every 9-10 months. It's based on tonnage as to how often a grinder runs the rails.
