From the not nearly as flat as people think Indiana is. A good roll and this grain train was heavy on the older cars. On the going away view there is very little side to side motion showing very good track quality. A pretty stiff grade on the track but the road has that interesting elongated climb like using steps. Tight fit on the school bus. Which can be a problem in rural areas. Nice forested area in the background well worth the drive to shoot it

Thanks Paul! This is in the Wabash River valley with curves and uneven terrain. Smith siding is just south of where I was filming. Yes, that school bus is a tight fit! 😉

Old “killer” 41 paralleling the tracks there. I see they’ve installed gates at Emison. I wonder if the sign is still there that says “Emison”? Nice footage as always. I liked that angle with the detector south of town. Looks like the Busseron radio tower in the distance.

I’ll Have to look next time and see if that sign is still there. They built a new overpass over the tracks north of where I was filming.
