    Will they look at your FICO score 8 or your FICO Bankcard score 8? And what should be your limits on the cards that you presently have, I know the lower the better, but will you get denied if you have cards of 50% you think?

    I attempted to get the business card, but hit some walls when it said I needed to provide information to "prove" my business. You mention that not being required - how do you get around that?

  • @TheRDGuarantee
    @TheRDGuarantee2 күн бұрын

    What did they ask you to prove your business? The requirement for business cards is very low - essentially if you're doing something on your own (not as an employee) with the intention of making money, you're considered a business in the eyes of the credit card companies. They'll typically ask for a business name (this can be your name), business structure (sole proprietor), tax id (your SS number), and business description. This can be as simple as you want to make money driving Uber.

    FANTASTIC REVIEW - I really like that you mention Wells Fargo gives the MIUCH higher multipliers when booking directly with the airline and hotels. This is a BIG feature if they make it easy to redeem the points because the credit card travel portals nearly never give you the lowest prices for air and hotel travel. Personally, I don't have a Wells Fargo card but thinking about it.

    Great video. International traveler credit card seekers should be aware many of the cards have FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEES and they can be a true bummer...MANY Chase cards have them. The card mentioned here currently does not..Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card. Also note the yearly card fee is crazy too, and although you can use card benefits that outweigh the yearly fee ... not all are truly usable for most like Dashpass and Peloton purchase credit. Keep up the good work and the informative videos. In America, we need to be more active about the credit cards we use and your videos help us think about it.

    With the AmEx BCP, you just need to spend $32/week in groceries to pay for the AF. You need to spend $64/week in groceries to break even with the BCE card. If you spend more than $64/week in Groceries, you win. The streaming credits, which include in-app purchases on iOS and Android/Google, are gravy. And the 3% on Gas is also nice.

    You say the margin fee is per day, but the interest on the margin is yearly but accrues daily. So whatever the percentage is divided by 365 times the borrowed amount is what you owe.

    The Chase Travel Portal is a scam. All the airline prices are always higher than buying directly from the airline. I was just looking at international premium economy seats and it was $300 more on Chase. To get 5x points isn't worth paying 15% more cash.

    Very overrated card. Does not even have free TSA/Global Entry benefit. Earning categories are lousy; lets be really, who buys groceries online? Unless you dine all day long this is essentially 1x card. US Bank Altitude is great card, earning 4.5x on any tap to pay purchase (when redeemed for travel) which is essentially all purchases these days and does not restrict you to some over priced travel portals or limited offer / partner award tickets and other nonsense.

  • @TheRDGuarantee

    Yea the Altitude Reserve is pretty incredible for the fact that as a high annual fee card it actually earns well for you.

  • @lewislouis6246
    @lewislouis624611 күн бұрын

    You are comparing a 95 dollar card with a 400 dollar card & thats the reason why its "overrated" in ure book? I am telling you. Credit channels have so many minds absolutely confused. Its trendy and fun to roast the csp but don't allow trends to actually confuse you with the power of this card. u.s. altitude reserve is a 400 dollar card and barely accessible for most due to its strict rules. It also doesn't have travel partners making it totally irrelevant to people who actually transfer for max value (using a travel card as...a travel card) I am not saying the csp is perfect because it for sure needs better multipliers but the recent trend of stomping csp is beyond overhype.

  • @flakocibao

    If one thing were to happen, the removal of Hyatt as a transfer partner, I am curious to see what the general consensus would be, my guess is that this card would fall off a cliff after the year 1 sign up bonus as I know a lot of people (myself included) that use the CSP (Chase Sapphire Preferred) as the gateway for funneling Chase trifecta points to Hyatt. What I am trying to get at is, with all of the positives pooling and transferring point from an ecosystem (Bilt has one card) is the differentiator for the CSP (Chase Sapphire Preferred). Bilt has no sign up but no annual fee, 3x on dining, 2x on Travel and primary CDW (sound familiar lol) but is missing the 1.5 on the CFU and the 5x on the CFF.Coincidence or not (I am sure it is 100% on purpose) the Citi Stra Premier can now also be a “CSP” 😂.

  • @TheRDGuarantee
    @TheRDGuarantee11 күн бұрын

    Hyatt would be a killer loss as a transfer partner. Or if they changed up their point redemption values so that they were way less valuable for aspirational travel. With the Citi Strata Premiere getting relaunched and the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey this space seems like its going to be getting more competitive... which is an awesome thing for us all
