I watch channels from some of the US ex-SOF guys talking about giving new guys a hard time and making them do stupid shit, not letting them talk until they've been in long enough etc. Buck (ex-US Special Forces) from Beers and Breakdowns often makes reference to it. You also hear about it a lot from SEALs. Completely the opposite of UKSF.

If You understand ballistics that range isn't out of reach for most long barreled rifles with a large calibre round. He also had line of sight by being in an elevated position. Machine guns can hit those ranges on a tripod using map predicted fire plans. What Craig achieved was a feat of artillery fire using a pretty simple mathematical equation they perform to set the sights up.

I wonder if he found it hard to interact on that level . On operations if you tell somebody to do something and they dont you physically deal with it with extreme violence . If you approach my HVP i can smoke you , but in the civilian world thats not an acceptable way to deal with it .
