thank you what size is your rear spacers? are they 20mm?
I believe they are 25mm or 1 inch spacers.
Hey man was wondering if you got any updates?
Tapping noise has been great since using pennzoil ultra platinum 5w20 and oem filter. Other stuff is showing its age tho 😄
@@McGo101 A couple weeks back started hearing similar inconsistent tapping while cold then i dont hear it once its warm. Changed oil to pennzoil plat hm 5w20, still there. This link is a video i took of it one morning. kzread.infox1llJsjGVAc?si=HNJN7dxlYW-NMnCp
@@McGo101 a couple weeks back started hearing similar inconsistent tapping while cold, doesnt seem to stay once warm. Changed oil to pennzoil plat hm 5w20 but still there. I have a short of it on my channel. Just dont know what it is and it got me worried
@Simpinski I'm guessing you checked for broken manifold bolts? I've had to do mine twice in 100k. Taps when cold when they break
@@McGo101 by the way my car is a challenger not a ram. And i have briefly checked the side heatshields towards the back for any movement since that apparently is a good sign the bolts are broken, but they seemed to be in place. I havent done any deep diagnostics since i have much less room than the rams.
What's the axle nut size?
Can you hitch this to a front of a mower that comes with a hitch on the front instead of using the duel mounting plates to the bars?
I'm guna guess no to that. This plow is designed to attach to the front arms on a ztr.
@@McGo101 What are the plate dimensions of the length and width for both?
Worked for mine, thanks for putting this out there for others to save a repair bill.
Thanks!
$600 at Firestone!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 don’t go there
That’s a bench grinder sir.
Suggest to wash machine down in those sentive areas, before you start taking any thing apart, you certaintly dont want to contaminate the oil or filters that you sre replacing, thanks😊 23:59
No fluid came out when I removed the plug. Should i be worried?
I would be concerned myself. I would fill and recheck the next day after a short drive to ensure it is infact full. Also just double check u pulled the right drain bolt
I have had three of these in the past all tick especially when idelling just bought a 24 bad boy with kawasaki 730v it ticks too I have ben told this is a normal what did they tell you about yours let me know
Mine had an abnormally loud tick, had the dealer re adjust the valve lash and its been great ever since! 👌
That dustcover that you discarded because you did not know where it went, I would consider pretty important.
I use an old fuel hose to pull the plug and start the new one, you can feel the threads better than the socket
Best way to diagnose if mds is your problem is to discount the mds solenoids connecter.( the square connecter on the back of the intake monifold). That will deactivate the Mds. Also you could hp tune the vehicle. Has to be 2014 or older. 2015 newer hemis, you’ll have to send your ecm to hp tuners.
Do you have any more info on this? I'd like to do this. Any picture?
Why does everybody always show the easiest spindle to work on.
This just started with my 2020 at 69k I will be telling the dealer you have explained it perfectly much appreciated!
My local dodge thought it was my torque converter.. however I proved It by jacking all 4 wheels off the ground and had the wife put it in drive and get eco mode to light up and I used an automotive stethoscope on the front timing cover and that told me where my issues were. Ask the dealer to do the same. Keep us posted. Good luck 👍
@@McGo101 definitely, lucky it should still be under warranty too. I also reside in Ontario so your prices made it even better.
Update on status: eco system failed completely went for the road test with the dealer they said they can't hear anything... The next day eco system fails engine light is on waiting to hear back from the dealer.
What kind of picth is your prop
Worked like a charm! Was getting so frustrated with it not having any power and figured it needed a good carb clean… glad I watched this first! Thanks!!
Thanks bro!
Thank you for the video!!
my 801 sounds the same i hate it but keeps going 280 hours and still going
Mine turned out to just need the valves adjusted.
I have a 40 HP. 2001 2 cyl. it'll do 37 mph on my 16' WarEagle and 2 guys, 3 batteries. I also have a POWER TRIM, You need a power trim on that motor
thanks for this video, very hard to find this info online
WORKED. This fixed power loss on my 11yr-old Stihl FS 56 w/all original parts (plug/air filter/fuel pickup/etc). Back to BEAST MODE. Thanks!
Nice work!
I really appreciate the info Sir,thank you
Would possibly know the torque needed for the head bolts? Cilinder head
Nah I'm not sure. Sorry. If u can't find it online u could try calling a dealer
DUDE !!! Nobody wants to see your buttcrack
Can you pull a tube with that?
Probly but it wouldn't be very fast
Do you know what could be the problem if when you engage blades it doesn’t move at all just make a loud screeching sound?
If the pto switch is working ie trying to turn the blades then I would look closer at the belt make sure it's on properly and not binding up on pulleys ect and if that's good i would be suspect of the pto clutch. Gl
@@McGo101 yes the belt is done properly, I’ve replaced belt a few times before just never had this problem happen. Trying to track down problem as to what it may be. Belt is correct, pulleys fittings are greased, no play in the tensioners or pulleys. Does the clutch need to be lubricated. Should i just purchase another clutch?
@@speedyReedyEnterprise it is hard to diagnose without seeing the unit in person. You could possibly look up how to diagnose a pto clutch online. I've personally never had one go bad on me yet.
Few updates to this video that may help others. I have a 2016 model. Drain plug - 17mm box wrench. Filters - 24mm short socket w/ swivel extension. Breather nut - Hex 8mm ( 1 of mine was frozen and it stripped. Beat in an M12 triple square bit, using impact wrench came right out) Thanks to the author. Saved me alot of time.
Same issue here with the stripped hex, thanks. I'll get a set of those bits tomorrow.
I was able to remove mine with the 10 mm bit
Make sure your hydro belt is in good shape and tight. It should be a little difficult to get on the idler with the idler pushed all the way to the stop position. New belt solved my severe shaking. Thanks again for the video and comments.
How did you start it
One thing I think people fail to realize is that this only 2 wheel drive most things with Snow Plows are 4 wheel drive does a pretty amazing job if you ask me
The hemis seem to that subtle knock. But thats just engine noise i think.
These acuras are a nightmare. Had to take bumper off for headlights
Yea somethings are tough to do ie clutch ect but I've had good luck doing all other routine maintenance so far
Thank you so much for such a great video I’m about to change mine . Wish me luck lol
I'm sure you will crush it in no time!
thanks. what size are your wheel spacers ?
25mm or 1 inch
I would not recommend these 1000HD bags if you live in a cold climate. I have had to replace mine (under warranty) multiple times due to cracking and leaking. Airlift knows about the problem and just continues to send warranty replacements. I'm sick of changing out the in-coil bags and am going with another company. To bad airlift won't allow me to pay the difference for a different style of airbag, they have lost a customer and I will let everyone know of the issues I have had.
Do you know if Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage works as well? Mine has 180k on it. Or would you still recommend the one linked in the description?
From the limited testing I've seen I think sticking with the normal pennzoil ULTRA platinum is our best bet
@@McGo101 thank you so much for your prompt reply, I will try this on mine and give you an update asap
i can tell you guys 4 years and they still didnt fix it lol
Good stuff Thanks
It's it shutting into 4 cylinders. It's just how they sound. Specely with dual exhaust system normal noise
Mine sounded like a diesel when in 4 cylinder mode.
Thanks man
Great job. Looked like some slight water intrusion? Settling at the rusty looking areas. Moisture fogged up the unit and the disc. Did you do anything later on that?
Car did have random areas water had gotten into ie drivers floor ect so moisture is not surprising. Ended up selling it an getting a newer one with no rust. Still have to clean the nav reader on the new one as it randomly checks out while driving.
My 2019 ram RWD HEMI 8 spd clunks at stop lights. Often when I take foot off brake. But sometimes sooner. It started shortly after buying new. Dealer said they did t hear it. After 40 k it seems to be same. Any thoughts?
It's a tough one to diagnose. Maybe a different reputable transmission shop could give the truck a quick once over and look for any binding or play
@@McGo101 thanks. My new guess is that the drive shaft spline going into the transmission end isn’t lubed properly. Likely at the factory. Clunks as it moves in or out at stop. I’ll fight the dealer on that.
This doesn't really show how to install
I'm noticing how everyone is skipping over the first spark plug on the passenger side that sits under the hose that I'm having a issue taking off
Hello from Michigan! Love the video. I started looking at a snow plow for my golf cart and then your video popped up. I’m looking at the same plow you have for your zero turn. I thought for sure I would also need chains. But watching you push that snow pretty easy. How does it do with a h any wet snow?
It does well upto about 1.5 ft then the lack of traction becomes an issue in wet. I now use a compact tractor with the same plow modified and it's been excellent
Didn’t see any torquing the plugs either.
Personally I never torque spark plugs. I always do them by feel.
How's the generator holding up?
So far it's been flawless. It runs the whole house minus the hwt without issue
@McGo101 Good to know. I recently purchased the 201194 dual fuel 11500. I'm still in the break-in stage, only using propane, but zero issues
