They moved the Dali back to the terminal and since the bow had been destroyed there was no way to retrieve the anchor so they cut the chain

I used some red rubber mulch in my garden walkways. If you like the smell of rubber on hot day then go for it. I did not like it one bit and got rid of it real fast.

But also the following questions should not stay unanswered: Cost of all removing the steel and cleaning up? The Army corps of engineering. Who also hired subcontractors. How much will Betlehem Steel ( they ARE getting it?) pay for the scrap metal? Are thy going to melt it down there? Or cutting it up as scrap and selling it further? Who will build all those wiring for the bridge? There are not many companies around the world who can do that. And, where does one send his bills to? President Biden said the Government will pay everything. Because for the looks of it, and the lawyers are waiting already, it will take claims and tests, and tons of papers and experts to establish if and how much the ship owners will pay? Will the bills be checked? it is one thing to make out an estimate. And have nice pictures. It is then another, - you want THIS added, and THAT changed. And that will cost extra....

all the wood came from the trusses under the road way we have the same kinda bridge and they keep replacing the wood ties instead of making the foundation out of steel . someting to do with weight i imagine. seems like they do it every twenty years or so .

A lot of companies paid to put cargo on that ship expecting it to be delivered. I'd like to know if all the cargo is going to be transferred to another ship in one go? Or is some of it perishable and has to be discarded? Or have any shippers changed their minds? Are there any interesting hard luck stories this caused for shippers?

Great information with no 'fluff'. The stark reality of the disaster that took place but to see the 'coming together' of machine and mankind to make this port almost ready to go 'full steam ahead' soon. TY

@3:47 thanks for the video, I installed a new sink for my house but it was leaking at the connection nut... after seeing this explanation I re-seated the connection with a focus on lining up that angled lip properly, and that fixed my leak! those clear traps look really cool, I was almost tempted to buy/install one, but reading the reviews lots of 1 stars saying it leaked after a month
