    It's ridiculous. Logiteh has one wheel and gets 5 points. What for? He should get one point for having a DD steering wheel at all.

    Nice review ! Can I ask where do you go find and download those exquisite simHUB dashes ? And is there a function for you to swipe to another dash in simHUB?

  • @LaurenceDusoswa
    @LaurenceDusoswa6 күн бұрын

    Simhub dashes are difficult to find. I wish there was a good marketplace out there. Facebook is a good place to go. So is discord, in the various discords like GSI or cube controls. I don’t think there’s a way to do a swipe to switch dashes unfortunately

    @@LaurenceDusoswathanks for your response, greatly appreciate it! But those dashes are they safe to download and use in general?

    @@LaurenceDusoswathank you: is it best to overwrite existing dashes or completely delete the dash to reinstall? Also for some dashes with minor upgrades or changes, would simHUB detect it automatically? I’m assuming for any updates to a dashboard the name changes and will be recognized as a separate dash? Also have you ever encountered some dashes that have overlapping text or some weird text configurations? The best guess is the font file but seems fine: Maybe it’s the file itself that may be the issue or that the dash design itself is suited for a specific size of screen on a wheel? The reason why I’m asking is because the text configuration looks the same when running in windowed mode

    I really like sim magic hardware but unfortunately I can see that Fanalab software is by far light years ahead of this. If there was a way to have all that functionality and hack Fanalab telemetry to work with these led lights it would be amazing. Maybe sim hub could be used but can be quite cumbersome to figure it out, and take a lot of work, but then the customisation should be infinite. I am actually crazy about the FX Pro and the new GT Hub

    I have a serious problem is someone stole my buttkicker amp. I still have the transducer but not the amp. I cant buy the amp seperately, so my only option is to buy a whole new kit when i only need the amp. Thats like an extra $120 for something i dont need. What do i do?

    I recently purchased this base and have been waiting for the last three weeks for the p1000 and gt pro wheel. They should be arriving this week but watching a lot of rally sims has got me wondering about shifters. I looked at the shh, vnm, dsx8 and some others I can't think off the top of my head but I can't decide what to go for. Of course the simagic one without a doubt is great but it also comes at a great price. What would you recommend that would offer H pattern and sequential ? Love the in depth opinions you give on these products !

    Mine arrive this afternoon after my basic fanatec pedals that came with ddpro started messing up , the loadcell i upgraded to started braking on its own and wouldnt hold a constant pressure without fluctuating massively , bit the bullet and ordered v2 . Was just wondering what would be the roughly same preassure as original loadcell? As in what combo to use ?

    How's tricks Laurence, Sean here from Ballincollig. I'm finally getting a few bits together to start gaming properly, but I was wondering for your opinion on the HORI Xbox Series X/S Racing Wheel. I'm literally trying to start on a budget of next to nothing and I'm just wondering if your community have any information with regards to that wheel. Mainly for F1 and some Rally. Sorry for the long winded message.

    Having just got a G923, I noticed on the box is said it has a dual clutch system. While I was aware this was something which started off on F1 cars, there was no real explanation of how set it up, how to use it or how it works. You've covered all the bases, thanks. While it's not a set-up with paddles exactly as you see in open single seaters, it's definetly a launch control system I'll be making pleanty use of. Now I can do practice starts at the end of a practice session to fine tune the clutch settings, just like they do on the telly. Thanks

    Handbrake closer to wheel or shifter closer to wheel comes down to what discipline you do mostly. Rally drivers try to put shifter closer because that is what they are doing more (shifting way more often than using handbrake). Drifters dont have to shift as much on a run but use the handbrake a lot so its closer to the wheel.
