Those bangers and mash absolutely amazing! I also like that sandwich burger, those little booths usually placed around car parks serve really delicious home-style food, I think they are a bit unappreciated. Corporate KFC's and Mcies can go to hell!

Thank you for making the video I always get emotional because I moved to the UK and I always miss my Maltese nanna and other family members the video makes me sad because I always miss when I used to go to the beach then after we went to this donut guy screaming “DONUTS COME GET YOUR DONUTS!!” Sometimes we got Whippy gelato that always gave me an upset stomach but I love the taste! Even ftira is so good I remember at my school my dad always made me Maltese bread and olives with kunserva with salami! At the beach I always love swimming in the ocean blue water then after feeling the sand on my feet! Everywhere I went everyone remembered me when I was a little kid and they always greeted me in the nicest way and this amazing lady in birżebugga who always gave me free food when I was a tiny girl!❤

Great reviews! I wanted to ask though, in the bangers and mash you said they served it with pickled ginger. Are you sure that wasn’t a pickled red onion? It definitely did not look like Ginger to me.

Thank you for showcasing our British culinary brilliance. I can personally recommend the pie shop in Bedminster, Bristol. Also the roadside breakfast roll, which fuels the HGV drivers of the UK and without us, nobody gets anything.

Really good reviewing style. As an Australian, I grew up. under the impression that English food was not at all nice. However, having visited several times, I can attest to a pretty decent level of 'nosh' as the Poms like to call it. Must say that apart from fish & chips (of course), I had no real idea about English Street food, and will be including this next visit. Thank you Sir.

They had national kitchens (or communal feeding) until 1947 to eliminate food poverty during the 2nd world war which were pretty grim. The only food that wasn’t rationed during the war was fish n chips. Protein with carbs and fat fed the nation very well. That is why fish n chips are an institution in the Uk. I was born in the 1950’s and my food experiences were pretty good. Brought up on roast dinners with plenty of vegetables. Pies and puddings, stews, casseroles and offal too like liver and onions. Life was pretty good if your mother could cook and you didn’t expect pheasant and salmon. Rabbit was also plentiful. Forgive me if I say that British Food is great and far, far better than any of your fast food chains that we have imported can supply.

@DanFandelli The town of Fakenham in Norfolk has several really good butcher's . There is also a strong barter culture in Norfolk. I would trade jams & chutney for game / fish. Looking forward to your next adventure 😀
