Popular HAWKER FOOD at Tiong Bahru Food Centre (Singapore)! 🇸🇬

Tiong Bahru Food Centre is another popular spot for Hawker Food in Singapore. Here you can find traditional Singaporean Foods at a cheap price, prepared by hawkers that have perfected their recipes for decades.
I arrived kinda late, almost afternoon, and had to accept that some of the stalls I wanted to visit were either closed or sold out (cause that's what happens for popular hawkers, they may close soon that expected if they are sold out!)
In this glorious happy day of Hawker Singapore food, the highlights of my food adventure at Tiong Bahru were a delicious plate of Wonton Mee, some Grandpa Homemade Chee Cheong Fun, a bowl of Singapore Curry Laksa, and the rare Singaporean rice cake "Chwee kueh".

I ate loads of Chwee kueh as a kid. That salty/umami brown radish topping was stupidly addictive. 😅

I find that foreigners do not mix their noodles thoroughly before eating because the sauces or gravy are underneath the noodles & mixing it will give better flavour taste.

Yes I agree, it’s not obvious to us that there is a pool of sauce just underneath needing mixed! I guess these are things that you realise once you spend enough time eating in Singapore
