Following my passion for interesting cars, engines, machines (including the odd tractor, traction engine or boat etc) and all things engineering (with a just few random things thrown in for good measure like a mechanical calculator, 17th Century cannons).
(Video Shorts now about having a bit fun with the longer format video’s for more of a proper look at things.)

Something out of the Casper movie.
Ever asked what his secret to longevity is? Your dad looks like he's in his 70s and moves better than some in their 60s
damnn that is ugly 😭😭😭
I would always drive past it and wonder what it was, so when I started to learn to fly at Tatenhill and asked my instructor about it and found out it was the buccaneer
👍👏❤
did he say 235000 miles??
Nice clean pair
Sound amazing 🤩
Hola quisiera saber cómo podría poner en punto el motor y la bomba del lister Hr4
Hello, I would like to know how I could tune the engine with the injection pump to the lister HA4 to be able to start it.
Use it as a power plant
Love it❤
I have had nothing but trouble with my Suzuki df2.5 which I have had from new for about 4 years (about 30 hours use). The motor exhaust valve got stuck causing the push rod to fall out of position. The dealer was able to fix this without taking everything apart. I have had a lot of trouble getting the outboard to start and it kicks back like a mule. Recently I decided to investigate myself - I found the spark plug was incorrectly gapped (at over 1mm). This was factory supplied so a quality control issue. The service dealer had also overfilled the oil which did not help either. I replaced the spark plug and removed excess oil and for the first time it starts second pull. Maybe it’s OK now, however, I would not recommend this outboard after all my trouble with it.
Beautiful
I have the same car!
Nice Twin Vixen CV! and Bultaco Sherpa T 350...
Incredible restauration. I handle one of this engines water cooled version in my farm as electric generator. Unfortunatelly soon the electric starter blows and have ti use the inertial start. Good machine.
Haha that’s my grandfathers car!
Excellent 👌🏻 thank you for showing and taking the time, Buzby lol
Capone's car is dark green with black wings. The armour plating has been removed. The Secret Service used it whenever the president was in Chicago in the early 30s.
That car is amazing.
We had the same in East-Germany but with electrical drive kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXdpp9uxeq_aeto.html
One of 'only' 2000 made! That's not a '55 - the Twin Cam was introduced in 1958 and that car will be a '59 or '60 with those rear lights.
Thanks title updated
Mines runs on heating oil, the rounded square thing behind the carb and exhaust is the vapouriser and it crosses over inside so the exhaust heat will heat up the fuel
gorgeous car, beautiful colour. a pleasure to see
Hello cordial greetings, I have a couple of questions: Is there any way to attach the phone to the telescope to take pictures, or do something homemade? Where can I get the ring to fix the telescope on a tripod? Is there any accessory that you think is worth it? Regards
No idea ref phone, but tripod fixing kits are available on ebay. The ring thing came with this on may have been orginal fit? Good luck they are great scopes for the money…👍
😢
Back to the future
Do know I designed something similar in my head only , I've never seen this before
I love it 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I had a 75 X 1/9 and wish I still had it
Going since the turn of the 20th century, 115 odd years ago !.I believe the late Lord Montague who commissioned the original style body in the 60s , used it to carry his own coffin to his funeral , returning to its former use - amazing .
Thanks for that information 👌what a car!!
Miss this Dennis Merryweather Fire Appliance
I owned a 1989 turbo like this in white but in the final and updated version, bought it in 1991, had it for seven years and loved it. Comfortable, big boot and roomy interior. Things that let it down was torque steer under heavy acceleration and brakes faded quickly under heavy braking. Sold it in 1998 and even though I really looked after it, the rust had started forming on the rear wheel arches.
Total beast. Long may it live.
Japanese carbs because Italian carbs SUCK!!
❤
Nice Variety of Brick Damage 👍🏻
Shhh - don’t mention electric milk floats, EV’s are sposed to be “New Tech”😉
My Gran used to keep milk on a marble slab on a Shelf over the doorway at the top of the cellar Steps..
Well done to that Gentleman for this collection, which ties in Nicely with my research into some of the Historic Specialised Railway Vehicles used for Bulk Distribution on the Railway Network back in the Day - The Production, Preparation, Transportation & Storage of this Commodity is Just Overlooked and Taken for Granted by the General Public, but there would be Uproar if it wasn’t available to put in the Morning Cuppa - Many Thanks.
This Severn Crossing is An Iconic Landmark for me ever since visiting shortly after it opened in 66, and it still fascinates me now - Deffo on my Top 5 Bridges List - Thanks for my First Lol of the Day with the Urban Myth 😂 Great Vid and thanks for Sharing 👍🏻

Rolls Royce Engine is Good !
Does the type of oil currently being used matter? Some additives can only be used in 100% synthetic. Sounds like good stuff. Use it in the fuel though?
Told one issue with this stuff is the oil base it’s in is not great! but that was just on an internet search so not sure if that’s true (but could be plausible I guess). I suspect the very best oils don’t need additives at all…(mobile 1, Castrol Edge etc)
@@MacsMachines Good points. I just bought a 2013 Fiesta Diesel and wondered if it would benefit the engine. I suspect that the service that was just done did not use the best oils, unfortunately.
I put it in my 4Runner and ej257 oil, transmission, brake fluid, fuel, coolant, power steering, and complete drivetrain. No issues and I’ll top it off every so often.
@@ALW96 I`m going to try get some in the manual gear box then. Thanks
