Can you build a liquid cooling mini itx form factor under $500

Without a single case fan, this build is just waiting to overheat. I just built with this case and you can put two or three fans in the top, two fans in the bottom, two or three fans on the left side, and a 120 exhaust fan in the back.

Looks a bit cumbersome. You are not really gaining anything in that form factor. Many portable screens have foldable covers that double as kickstands. I use oculink to dock a more powerful GPU on my GPD Win Mini handheld. Otherwise you can probably just stream your desktop on your legion go if you are just moving about your home.

Dont get me wrong, I love the creativity and spirit to explore something, but that monitor size. Its not meant to be small enough to be handheld, but not big enough for you to enjoy playing. Im not talking big like a tv. But that size will kill your back and eyes quickly. If casual game maybe fine, game that require your attention to detail or precision wont. Maybe if you build it with extention like a stand for monitor, or a bending screen we use on smartphone these day, it would be much better to keep it handy and compact but enjoyable at same time.

So, i'm planing a new build and considering this case since its clean and allow alot of options. However i want to aircool this project, and really want to fit a BeQuiet Dark Rock 5 PRO. The limit for aircoolers in this case supposedly is 165mm in height above motherboard. The Dark Rock 5 PRO is 168mm in height. The cooler you installed is about 159mm in height. Sometimes there is some wiggle room in these measurements event tho the spec says 165mm, sometimes 167-168mm etc will still work. (TIGHT) but managable. After watching your video i want to believe there is like 9mm to go when checking your Freezer 36, what say you?

Can you turn it into a rugged square like case? Or make the case adjustable from going from a square to a slant like what you have? Also could you add a cover for the screen. Main reason why I asked if you can make it more rugged. I’m constantly on the go and hate using a laptop. Last trip I took my laptop broke so I had to ship it to a repair shop. I want to have something that I can rely on ordering parts and fixing myself without using a saudering kit.

Great build. I was holding out hope for some one to do a more conservative one. The selection of components is superb. I had hoped you give up some more thermal profiles but your games review told a big story anyway. My only change may have been only to go with a more value proposition GPU like the Intel A770. But that's just me. I am on a fixed income. Gotta say I like your style and taste and have subscribed. Keep up with product reviews. Any ideas on flat panel monitors ?

I’m currently in the works of building my first PC and I’ve watched all of your itx builds, your craftsmanship on these itx builds is definitely a great guide for me picking out my hardware. I went ahead and bought a RTX 4070 Super founders edition and I plan on going with the 7800X3D with the ROG B650E-I mb. I’m still debating on the case I’d like to go for, it’s between, A4-H20, NR200P V2 or the NCORE 200. I’m leaning more towards the H20 because of how compact it is and still having good airflow. I see most builders going with liquid cooling so that will be a must for me if I’m to go with the H20. Quietness and good temps are my priority for this itx build. I have Arctic cooling fans as well as Noctua’s as an option if I go with the other cases. I absolutely love the design of the NH-D15 chromax cpu cooler, an absolute eye gem! I love watching these builds and I look forward to learning more before I buy my gear!
