    Like the 4080 and 4090 founders which are also the smallest ones are also bigger than that case... so the build would required a much larger one... like most 4090s are almost as big as a 360mm aio, so building small with air with them makes no sense unless you go liquid cooling which reduces the size of the GPUs by a lot but now you have to fit radiators for them, also the CPU yo need to not bottle neck them requires beefier coolers too so again going to small is not that good as the tiny fans will need to be ramped up to keep the temps somewhat tamed...

    @@z4k1_zaki65 that build is massive compare to this two, even if it is the smallest. I wish they release a 4080 that uses the cooler of the 4070 founders edition, like that gpu and the 4070ti doesn't need such a massive cooler and everyone is over building their coolers... like where are the 4080 with only two fans... like just some voltage tweeks and it should be fine...

    This is an awesome build. I'm actually going to be building my first Mini ITX PC soon. I am going to be using the FormD T1 and I'm going to be getting the same motherboard and RAM you are using in this video. This really helps me get an idea of what I'll be working with. I'm amazing at how such a little box can have so much performance.

    Velkase has been my go to for SFF portable builds for a while. They're super dense and I love the practical improvements here. Including the SFX-L again is an excellent addition along with the ability to use Cables straight from the GPU. I did find that in some cases the older display adapters caused some momentary loss of signal on high refresh rate displays meaning I had to source higher end adapters but this has now been solved! Amazing work.

    Love your work Devyn, and I got the B650E-I motherboard too. I would like to know what is the part number of the corsair ram kit you installed? The reason I ask is I'm also after a low profile kit and am looking at the 64gb Corsair vengeance kit. Here's the part number CMK64GX5M2B6000C30. It's the CL30 6000mhz kit but I'm told it may not be compatible with this board so if you can help out in any way that'll be awesome! Installing a 7950x3d for gaming/editing so looking at a ram kit with decent speed and low latency and apparently CL30 6000mhz is the sweet spot for this set-up without any issues. Thanks, and looking forward to your reply! ✌️

  • @coridyn

    @coridyn

    5 ай бұрын

    The HDPLEX GaN power supplies are great, but are longer than standard FlexATX PSUs, so not a drop-in replacement in the Velka cases. The HDPLEX 250W is 170mm long, and the 500W is 200mm, but the max length of FlexATX is 150mm. I have done a build with the 500W HDPLEX PSU in the Velka 5 (revision 2.1), but I had to screw it onto the cases side panel lengthwise above the GPU because it was too long to fit in the regular spot. This limited the max height of the GPU so I had to go with the low profile Gigabyte 4060. If you want to use a standard height GPU then I think you're limited to FlexATX in the Velka 3 and 5.

It didn’t matter to me though because of the three m.2 slots. I’ll be making a video on my build eventually and I’ll show how to skip the daughterboard. A lot of things many people don't need, optical drives, heck even a tape drive system, every pci slot on the motherboard in use. Something I'd wanna see LTT or someone else do is an immersion pc with electrocool like what the bitcoin miners use. Very different to mineral oil.
