We have many videos on exercises that could help. If that doesn't help, I would recommend finding a physio therapist that specializes in manual therapy in your town. Best of luck!
Hello sir my name shumila iam dizziness offbalnce nick back problem eyes dizziness brain fog 😢😢😢😢please answer me halp me what happened me please sir answer me 😢
I would recommend trying some of the exercises for relief. Keep them pain free. Best of luck!
I feel dizzy doing this (not spinning vertigo). It feels like my head can’t handle the weight of head. Is that just weak muscles? Like when I lift my head from a pillow in a laying position I can only it for 25 seconds. I also have a forward head posture. On some days I don’t have any symptoms. The last days I did a lot of neck exercises from dr Mendel and I think I over did it and irritate the vetegbras. Like when I touch c1 or c2 it hurts.
You may need to see a professional PT that specializes in manual therapy. I would recommend Gwen Jull style exercises and discontinue any stretching. Best of luck!
Hello :) I suffer from dizziness from the neck since 4 years and getting really sad about it. MRI nothing to see, it’s only the muscles which are always tight. Can tight muscles really influence the vision and dizziness? I had a Atlas therapy, the symptoms were gone immediately for 3 weeks, then they returned. But my posture is really bad and I haven’t tried any exercises beside stretching yet.
Check out this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z4CV2K97m6S_pdo.html Keep it pain free and keep me posted on your results.
Thanks so much. I'm starting this today!
Fantastic...keep me posted on your results.
Would this help occipital neuralgia?
Yes, I would just keep all the exercises pain free. Best of luck!

What do you do if looking down and up increases your pain and muscle spasms, but you still definitely have cervical weakness?
Will seeing a chiropractor help with this type of dizziness
Sir my mother had bppv last year after 3 months doctor said that now it had gone you are fine but this constant feeling of dizziness was not going. When we consulted with another doctor, it diagnosed as cervical and doctor advised using soft collar and doing few exercise But still it is not doing anything well, my mother feel 24/7 dizziness ,pain in neck and this constant feeling like floating in head. Please suggest something. Is this fully curable or not.
3rd exercise makes impact... does it makes the difference how we pull the arm back? Btw from my experience it's important to shift your centre of gravity back - that will relieve your neck from tension
Keep it light and pain free. Thanks for watching.
I’m so glad I found this video.. thank you so much 🫶
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
Thks🙏🏻🎩🌷
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!
Thank you SO much for this video! I’ve only been doing the first 2 exercises as I can’t lay on my side. But wow, the difference I feel in my neck with just those two is AMAZING. I have been getting searing neck pain and ocular migraines for quite awhile. Today is day 3 of not walking around feeling dizzy, nauseous, and wearing an ice cap on my head.
Fantastic news! Thanks so much for sharing that awesome story. I wish you all the best. God bless!
Now i'm 80% sure it's a cervical issue. Your info has been helpful, i wish you were nearby, i'd be in line to be treated by you lol, thank you tho.
My pleasure and so glad that was helpful.
Fantastic
Thanks for watching!
Can i do these exercises if i have bulging discs?
I became quite lazy over the past few months I’ve never practiced good posture and noticed the top of my spine is quite curved and my head juts out, I spend a lot of time in bed as I’m not working so always on my phone with my spine bent, one morning I rolled over and my back just went I immediately felt dizzy and sharp back pain in the upper back I could barely move, after that I noticed my neck was stiff and sore as well as my shoulder blades, it has got a bit better and over the past 2 days I’ve been straightening my back and neck out as well as doing neck stretches I’ve found it’s helped quite a lot I was able to go out a full day today and feel good, I still get a few random spells but (touch wood) not as bad as it has been anyone else had the same thing my anxiety only makes it worse but does anyone think this is likely cervical vertigo as I have all common symptoms of cervical vertigo
It very well could be based on those symptoms. Best of luck.
Trying the first exercise made me dizzy so i stopped altogether lol, i wanna cry, it's tiring
can i also do head isometric exercise
Yes, i would keep it pain free.
When I walk up or down stairs, I feel dizzy afterwards. If I'm in a slightly elevated place, I also feel dizzy. My doctor is confused and can't determine if it's related to my neck or if there is an issue with my vestibular system. i am also confused
You could always try some of the exercises on my channel as long as they don't make you worse. Best of luck!
This is a really smart video!! Thank you so much!!
Not that smart,
Great video, good explanation and very good exercises! Thank you very much. Just want to add that the tightness of the muscles in the neck are not only a symptom. The autonomous nerve system is actually just doing its job as it tries to stabilize the instability of the cervical spine by making the muscles tight. I developed cervical issues two years ago and stretching always felt wrong and uncomfortably, despite there are so many videos out there telling you to stretch....
Due to lack of resources being in a country outside of the US i've had to deal with constant inbalance and dizziness without going to a Doctor for almost two months after a vertigo crisis that lasted hours. It's not fun as you can imagine and i've been all over KZread looking for alternatives to at least alleviate the symptoms. I started experiencing a bit of hearing loss like a month ago mostly the left ear and a very subtle buzzing in my right one. I've been doing mostly exercises for BBVP and even the techniques are slightly different from one video to another lol. The amount of info can be puzzling but now that i've watched a couple of your videos i get a different perspective and what NOT to do which included some of the gazing ones, needless to say i stopped because i'm sure my vertigo came from being in a bad posture while in front of a computer for years. Hopefully this week i'll finally get it checked out and i hope the Doctor doesn't put me through further hell and i'm diagnosed accurately. Wish me luck! and thank you for probably saving me from more dizziness while desperately looking for relief (From Venezuela).
Glad to help and thanks for watching! Con mucho gusto!
I am unable to lay on my sides; is there an alternative to the 3rd exercise?
Yes, scapula retractions can be performed seated. Light effort, 5-10 sec holds. Pain free only!
Good
Would this potentially help with eye strain, light sensitivity, blurriness in addition to headaches? All these symptoms seem to be coming from my neck, but unsure why (when I move my head to the right the left side of my neck cracks and sometimes will relieve the headache and eye blurriness - but temporarily)
So helpful! Thank you!!
Hi doc, i have cervical vertigo but I can't say that I am dizzy..i have neck pain (right and at the back and bottom right of the neck) and feel that im unsteady like falling or swaying/tilting...will this still work with me?
Good chance...just keep it pain free/dizzy free when exercising.
Hi doc, will this be good for me? I am diagnosed to have cervicogenic dizziness, I have an existing neck pain especially when tilting my head down. They gave me exercise, chin tucks, upper fibers trapezius stretch, snow angel on the wall and mid back mobility -Y-I using a foam roller. But I noticed I am having pain doing chin tucks and and using a foam roller, it seems my neck pain is getting worse.. I feel so down, I feel my head is heavy and feel unsteady..thank you for reading my comment in advance doc..
Check out some of my videos on specific stability exercises. Give them a try and keep them pain free/dizzy free. Best of luck!
I got very sharp pain in my head its not like normal headache. Can it be from neck discopaty ?
Its possible...check out my video on home tests for cervicogenic headache. Best of luck!
i have that too mostly on my right side since january everyday get random short sharp shooting pains in my head and my neck on the same side feels so locked and painful underneath the scull my Head Mri and cervucal spine MRI was normal beside a kyphosis in my neck but nothing major
I been suffering for about 4 years now all these symptoms, I can seem to figure it out this concludes what I am feeling , I had a incident where I was on the ground and my head was push to the floor while I try to keep my head off the ground , for months I felt neck pain and all these symptoms…,
Wish you the best of luck with your recovery. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for those exercise - I have stenosis due to whiplash, a couple of falls, degeneration and age! I am 69 - do you think that exercises for the surrounding muscles will help or is this pain something I have to live with?
There is always room for recovery. I treated a lady that had suffered neck pain and daily HAs for 60 yrs and made an amazing recovery. Hang in there!
It seems like I'm at the cervicogenic dizziness category. I have been suffering recently with N/V, dizziness that last for an hour or so. I was diagnosed with Menieres disease last year, and my vertigo only kicks in often this month. And it really affects my daily lives. I'm about to see a different chiropractor soon to get second opinion. I have a neck problem too. Hope he can help me feel better.
I have bouts of vertigo periodically so I will definitely try this maneuver next time . Thanks for posting!!!
Hi Doc, does cervical vertigo also makes you feel imbalance or feeling floating? Thank you! I have neck pain and I don't feel any spinning, I feel that I am floating and tilting..have headaches too
Thank so many doctors DONT have a clue unfortunately they go with what they feel is causing the problem crystals in the ears. Many have no clue on Vestibular or cervical I been through it all.
Thank you so much I have been suffering with this condition for over 7 years its a everyday affair. I have gone to several specialist, ENT, Neurologist , physical therapy for 6 month twice per week I was misdiagnosed was told I had crystals in my ears. Completed my 6 month of therapy twice A week doing all the excerices I should have not been doing completed 6 month and had no improvement. Asked my pcp if I could have a referral for a brain..and neck. My pcp referred me to have a MRI of my brain, back of upper neck and inner ears. Finally after 7 years I found out that what has been causing my dizziness lightheadedness and wanting to vomit and the feeling of passing out was all cervical. I found a chiropractor comparison dr. They did not take my insurance I was so desperate that I found someone who sat with me when over my DVD of the back of my neck and explained what was causing the problem. I am retired on limited income it would cause me 103.00 A session each session was less then 20 minutes, had 9 sessions I could not afford any more and I am back to square one. Feeling worse then before and no doctor I am going to try to find a chiropractor comparison Dr. here in orange city Florida that takes my insurance Medicare plus Medicaid Humana insurance. I want to get my life back I wake up everyday as soon as I start moving around I start getting lightheaded and have to stop what I am doing and sit down is a living nightmare.
Hello, I have done it all. My last treatment was with a cahiopractor compression dr. He use to lay me down and work in my neck and back.I did at first go to physical therapy for 6 month and the excerices your showing not to do is what the therapist had me do. Now I feel worst then ever. Had this going on 7 years. Now I am going to try this what your recommended.
Best of luck and thanks for watching!
Thank you from Thailand.
Thanks for watching and I love Thai food!
Thanks for the videos, I've been looking at all sorts to find out more, and these help a lot. What's your opinion on whether flying can affect cervicogenic dizziness/and or problems? I mean the altitude and that sort of stuff.
I would say the lifting your luggage and sitting for a long time on the plane would more likely bother you than the altitude.
I’ve been to my doctors for over 20 years with this problem. I was given a bucket load of medication, I’ve been given shots to the base of the skull into the nerve, lots of fun. All this had no effect at all. I will be starting your exercises today. Thank you
Keep me posted on how your respond. Best of luck!
I am so confused! What about your own recommendation to do the stretches using the towel?
Great question. The towel procedure is an osteopathic technique to manipulate the C1/2 facet jt. It is not a stretch for the muscles and does not require the neck to move laterally. Hope that helped and thanks for watching!
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 Thank you for your answer! I am suprised to learn that, beacuse it always seemed to me that it was very similar to the pushing-your-chin-to-the-side stretch.
Is cervicogenic dizziness a serious illness?my dizziness get worst as years go by..and im so scared with this feeling😢it started since 2013 before itw as not that too dizzy but now it gets worst..i dont know what doctor hu could help.me..
