I feel dizzy doing this (not spinning vertigo). It feels like my head can’t handle the weight of head. Is that just weak muscles? Like when I lift my head from a pillow in a laying position I can only it for 25 seconds. I also have a forward head posture. On some days I don’t have any symptoms. The last days I did a lot of neck exercises from dr Mendel and I think I over did it and irritate the vetegbras. Like when I touch c1 or c2 it hurts.

Hello :) I suffer from dizziness from the neck since 4 years and getting really sad about it. MRI nothing to see, it’s only the muscles which are always tight. Can tight muscles really influence the vision and dizziness? I had a Atlas therapy, the symptoms were gone immediately for 3 weeks, then they returned. But my posture is really bad and I haven’t tried any exercises beside stretching yet.

3rd exercise makes impact... does it makes the difference how we pull the arm back? Btw from my experience it's important to shift your centre of gravity back - that will relieve your neck from tension

I became quite lazy over the past few months I’ve never practiced good posture and noticed the top of my spine is quite curved and my head juts out, I spend a lot of time in bed as I’m not working so always on my phone with my spine bent, one morning I rolled over and my back just went I immediately felt dizzy and sharp back pain in the upper back I could barely move, after that I noticed my neck was stiff and sore as well as my shoulder blades, it has got a bit better and over the past 2 days I’ve been straightening my back and neck out as well as doing neck stretches I’ve found it’s helped quite a lot I was able to go out a full day today and feel good, I still get a few random spells but (touch wood) not as bad as it has been anyone else had the same thing my anxiety only makes it worse but does anyone think this is likely cervical vertigo as I have all common symptoms of cervical vertigo

Great video, good explanation and very good exercises! Thank you very much. Just want to add that the tightness of the muscles in the neck are not only a symptom. The autonomous nerve system is actually just doing its job as it tries to stabilize the instability of the cervical spine by making the muscles tight. I developed cervical issues two years ago and stretching always felt wrong and uncomfortably, despite there are so many videos out there telling you to stretch....

Due to lack of resources being in a country outside of the US i've had to deal with constant inbalance and dizziness without going to a Doctor for almost two months after a vertigo crisis that lasted hours. It's not fun as you can imagine and i've been all over KZread looking for alternatives to at least alleviate the symptoms. I started experiencing a bit of hearing loss like a month ago mostly the left ear and a very subtle buzzing in my right one. I've been doing mostly exercises for BBVP and even the techniques are slightly different from one video to another lol. The amount of info can be puzzling but now that i've watched a couple of your videos i get a different perspective and what NOT to do which included some of the gazing ones, needless to say i stopped because i'm sure my vertigo came from being in a bad posture while in front of a computer for years. Hopefully this week i'll finally get it checked out and i hope the Doctor doesn't put me through further hell and i'm diagnosed accurately. Wish me luck! and thank you for probably saving me from more dizziness while desperately looking for relief (From Venezuela).

Would this potentially help with eye strain, light sensitivity, blurriness in addition to headaches? All these symptoms seem to be coming from my neck, but unsure why (when I move my head to the right the left side of my neck cracks and sometimes will relieve the headache and eye blurriness - but temporarily)

Hi doc, will this be good for me? I am diagnosed to have cervicogenic dizziness, I have an existing neck pain especially when tilting my head down. They gave me exercise, chin tucks, upper fibers trapezius stretch, snow angel on the wall and mid back mobility -Y-I using a foam roller. But I noticed I am having pain doing chin tucks and and using a foam roller, it seems my neck pain is getting worse.. I feel so down, I feel my head is heavy and feel unsteady..thank you for reading my comment in advance doc..

It seems like I'm at the cervicogenic dizziness category. I have been suffering recently with N/V, dizziness that last for an hour or so. I was diagnosed with Menieres disease last year, and my vertigo only kicks in often this month. And it really affects my daily lives. I'm about to see a different chiropractor soon to get second opinion. I have a neck problem too. Hope he can help me feel better.

Thank you so much I have been suffering with this condition for over 7 years its a everyday affair. I have gone to several specialist, ENT, Neurologist , physical therapy for 6 month twice per week I was misdiagnosed was told I had crystals in my ears. Completed my 6 month of therapy twice A week doing all the excerices I should have not been doing completed 6 month and had no improvement. Asked my pcp if I could have a referral for a brain..and neck. My pcp referred me to have a MRI of my brain, back of upper neck and inner ears. Finally after 7 years I found out that what has been causing my dizziness lightheadedness and wanting to vomit and the feeling of passing out was all cervical. I found a chiropractor comparison dr. They did not take my insurance I was so desperate that I found someone who sat with me when over my DVD of the back of my neck and explained what was causing the problem. I am retired on limited income it would cause me 103.00 A session each session was less then 20 minutes, had 9 sessions I could not afford any more and I am back to square one. Feeling worse then before and no doctor I am going to try to find a chiropractor comparison Dr. here in orange city Florida that takes my insurance Medicare plus Medicaid Humana insurance. I want to get my life back I wake up everyday as soon as I start moving around I start getting lightheaded and have to stop what I am doing and sit down is a living nightmare.

He use to lay me down and work in my neck and back.I did at first go to physical therapy for 6 month and the excerices your showing not to do is what the therapist had me do. Now I feel worst then ever. Had this going on 7 years. Now I am going to try this what your recommended.
