    If I remember correctly the metal face will face the wheel hub. Make sure you seat it all the way. I made the mistake of not seating it far enough and ended up going through a 5 gallon bucket of hydro fluid over the mowing season until I opened it back up. You’ll need to use a piece of pipe as a set tool being a socket is no where long enough to use.

    Thank you for video, I just purchased a NH WM25S, think it is extremely similar to yours. The name tags are changed to protect the innocent. I have purchased a thumb, it is off a 35 horsepower NH, so my application may be different, but I figure it is better to avoid ambushes, than to fight your way out off one. I read your informative comments, and plan to avoid the easy route, quietly traverse the terrain, with the safety off my M14 (that dates me, the were new when I got mine). Anyway, back to the grateful thanks, video was nicely delivered. Respectfully submitted

    @@mikemilkowski3982 Wait... how are you moving pickups around? Are you lifting them and moving them? I have one of these and this is the first video I have seen on this tractor talking about this. Seen a few on other brands so it must be a universal issue.

  • @mikemilkowski3982
    @mikemilkowski3982 Жыл бұрын

    @redragn72 It’s a very common issue across all brands. If you put a lot of weight or stress on the front end they will leak from the king pin like mine or they will leak on the axle tube where the tube and hub bolt together. I have a 97 Chevy parts truck I move around when I need to rob parts or move it I’ll put the loader bucket under the front or rear bumper lift the one end up then push or pull. Truck can’t wander off If the steer tires are off the ground.

    @@redragn72 I usually have a box blade on the back if not I’ll throw the backhoe on and grab a 15’ railroad tie with the thumb for extra weight and lift one end of the truck with the loader then push or pull it. Takes a while and it is a lot of work, but it’s really the only way to do it. Everything else is mostly a matter of learning to live with it still there. This way the darned thing is gone. Too bad you don't have teeth on your loader bucket. I hope your not getting any rock in your dam as that will create voids which will leak plus if you don't have a good clay bottom for compaction in the bottom of the pond with all the rock you're digging up it won't hold water especially in dry periods. I learned from the very first small pond I built.
